Maybe not. But I still love the pick for Portland. He may need more time to adjust than some of the other players in the draft, but he's such a hard worker and has all the tools to get there.

Anyone else see that AD sprained his ankle? He's likely not going to try out for Team USA, and may also miss part (or all) of summer league.

Knight, Walker, etc. had a lot of hype going into that draft.

They had a lot of hype because it was another weak pg draft. Weak draft in general.

Hey, if Danny Ferry can deal JJ and his contract, anything is possible.
 
Usually, people like to go strictly BPA, and then fill needs with free agency and trades. However, free agency is so weak this year, doing a hybrid strategy is best. We got the best PG and best C in the draft (at least as thought of by Olshey).

If you were outright against him on draft day, you should not be allowed to post about him now. I actually wanted Jeremy Lamb/ Terrance Jones with the 11th......
 
Blaze01 was the #1 Lillard hater. He wouldn't see it any other way. Anytime someone would say something good about him he'd come up with a 5 page rebuttal saying the same things to slight him everytime. Then on draft night he went on a drunken meltdown about how we fucked up in drafting Lillard.
