Three games into the season and we're already patting ourselves on the back![]()
Why not? Why must we be reasoned and measured?

Brandon Roy esque personality.

SHIT! Nice finds brother! All those suckas are no longer allowed to give props to him now!
If only we could have bought SAC's #5 - we'd get TRob and Lillard!
Sigh...... so close.

Drummond or Barnes. No Lillard.
(It seems predetermined it'll be Lillard)
Ed O.
Bullshit I know what I'm talking about with Drummand. He has a chance to be good but not a big enough chance IMHO.
Man they are talking up Lillard . . . not feeling good about this.
Damnit. Barnes falls into our laps and we don't take him?
I thought we are drafting for BPA, not need.
On the surface, I didn't like the Brandon Roy selection because I thought he was near his ceiling. However, he had an athleticism he didn't really showcase in college and I was dead wrong. Hopefully, I'll be surprised by Lillard, because I don't like the selection.
So much for bpa, eh?
Lillard. Meh.
Big FAIL by the Blazers.
Passing on Barnes is a joke.
Waiters CLEARLY on a higher tier than Lillard.
I win.

Check back in three years.
Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects
Ive noticed that a couple mock drafts have the Jazz selecting Damian Lillard which makes sense since he plays in Utah and they may be looking for PG for the future. I wonder how bad they want him and if there would be any value in moving up ahead of them to take him and then see how bad they want him and what they may be willing to give up to do so. Then again Im not sure what they have that would be worth it.
From Hollinger chat:
Kenny (San Francisco)
What's the Blazers best route to getting a point guard?
John Hollinger (12:19 PM)
The most likely scenario to me is that they sign Goran Dragic. But I could also see them taking Damian Lillard at No. 11.
Chad Ford @chadfordinsider
Meyers Leonard the other big riser here. Think his range is closer to 9-14 now. #NBACombine
Im beginning to wonder if we shouldnt try to get another pick to get this guy if we cant get Drummond
Good call! And if the result is the same as Westbrook I am 100% on board with Lillard. I have gone from liking this kid to REALLY liking this kid.
I sat there yesterday wondering, can you guys think of anyone from the last few years that really stood out in the combine and then turned out to be a bad pick? Im sure there are examples out there but I would like to compare them to Lillard. He seemed to do really well and just about everyone at the combined seemed to like him. What other players recently were like this but still turned out a bad pick?
I am pretty damned happy with this draft so far.
With Kyrie scoring 28 in a half against us, and Lillard 1 for 7, maybe this thread bump was a bad idea.
I'm starting to think that our best bet would be a Robinson/Lillard draft and hopefully find a way to turn our 2nd rounders into a late teens pick so we can get the versatile big man, Andrew Nicholson.
Slam dunk.
BUMP
Gotta bump his post count somehow I suppose.HCP once again proving his worth to the community.
Got all of it rightRe: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects
Leonard isn't a stiff. He's skilled and athletic. He is white though, so you got half of it right.
Will people notice if I go back and edit my post?
YOU once again worrying about what I'm doing. Put me on ignore and move on square.HCP once again proving his worth to the community.
Oh did you mean LAST season's when I made the closest prediction out of anybody here? Is THAT the one you are talking about? Just checking. You should just go bump HCP's win prediction thread from a couple years ago.

We aren't talking about JinxSpeed last season saying we would win 70 games and finish ahead of the Warriors and Spurs. There is a big difference when you're off by 20+ wins, and when you're off by 5.
Thats right. I forgot I was the only one who blew that win prediction thread.
