Zombie 2012 NBA Draft

Nice handle, very good ability to find open space to shoot, and he can shoot from anywhere. Nice high release. Also, a good defender with long arms.

Downside? Can take the open shot instead of driving for a better one (185 lbs); Questionable motor and no leadership skills.

If he develops well he could be like a Rip Hamilton or Kevin Martin, who can also play defense. If he doesn't develop or goes backward he is Gerald Green (okay, not really, but he could have issues).

Much better to choose Barton. Same physical body, but much better basketball player.

I dunno. If I'm WA, I'm expecting CHA to take TRob, but if he's available at #3, I still take him.
I could see that as well but with:

Wall/Ariza/Nene/Okafor

there is a blatant hole at the two-guard spot that Beal would fit perfectly. They'd have a great front court rotation if they picked T-Rob instead as well..going to be interesting and honestly I don't think anyone knows what the fuck is going to happen. This draft is ridiculous!

I agree that's what could happen - SG is now a bigger hole than anything for them. Just saying that if T-Rob would (and should) be the way WA goes if T-Rob was still available. T-Rob just seems like he has as much potential as anyone in the draft, and I almost always go for BPA. If you become stacked at one position, you take BPA, and take from your depth to fill in the other holes in the roster (that's my approach anyway).

trob slips to 3 and they can just trade the 3 for igoudala, and have the worst shooting team of all time

There has to have been worse-hooting teams. Now, I'd say there was never a worse-shooting team with more talent and athleticism than that...

Heard on 1080 that Olshey walked away impressed with Moe Harkless today after the workout

I wish I could say I watched a single game Harkless played in this year ...

I saw 3-4 games. I really liked him. I was a little surprised he came out after his freshman year, but then again, I'm also surprised he doesn't get more mention. I'm not totally sure what to make of him, but he showed some flashes of serious potential the few times I did watch him. He's very young, and I think he has quite a bit of potential. He's just one of those guys with a lot of potential, but I really think would have really improved with one more year of college. Time willl time...

he reminds me a tiny bit of paul george

Mike Rice ‏@mikerice6
Name of the day. Hartless. Big time talent. Going to be solid nba player. Terrance ross also looked very good

Re: 2012 NBA Draft Prospects

Look for Moe Harkless to climb up draft boards. He's got great size and athleticism and is full of the 'P' word.

Also, Andrew Nicholson could be interesting late in the 1st as a stretch 4.

I had a feeling he'd climb. He's got great size and a ton of potential. Pulling the trigger at 11 is dicey though.

CBS' latest mock.......http://www.cbssports.com/nba/blog/eye-on-basketball/19393294

#6
Damian Lillard, PG, Weber State: A clean start for the Blazers at point guard after the trouble over the past few years. Lillard is a scoring point so LaMarcus Aldridge may take a downtick, but without Nate McMillan to kill their souls, a new point guard could flourish with the kind of athletes Portland has.

#11
Tyler Zeller, PF/C, North Carolina: No injury risks. No character issues. No burdens of expectation. A quality basketball player who scouts like a lot for his transition to the next level. Portland pairs Aldridge with a legit young 5 who can rebound and score.

i'd be pretty unhappy getting zeller at 11 personally.

Guys on 1080 also said Terrence Ross looked really good

And that Marshall shot 2/30 on jumpers (I think 3pt shots)
