Sources say that as of Thursday, Kidd-Gilchrist had a slight lead over Barnes for the No. 4 pick.
The Cavs have also shown interest in Dion Waiters and Terrence Ross, but sources say that interest doesn't extend to the No. 4 pick. The Cavs have been trying to acquire another top 10 pick and would consider those players there if they can make a deal.

Sources: Cavs have Beal, MKG, Barnes atop board. Waiters/Ross not in mix at 4 http://espn.go.com/nba/draft2012/st...y-beal-michael-kidd-gilchrist-harrison-barnes (insider)

Sources say Minnesota offered Derrick Williams to Charlotte in exchange for the #2 pick. Bobcats quickly rejected.

If John Henson slips by Detroit at 9, Portland could consider him but seems set on Meyers Leonard. Henson to the Bucks has legs.
Is Henson really that appealing?
I dont think so. I want Zeller if we are going for a big.
According to Bucher and others there is strong indication Drummond will be there at #9 causing Henson to slip.
#9: Drummond
#10: Zeller/Rivers
#11: Leonard
Really?
No offense, but yeck.
I realize it's highly unlikely, but if Drummond were to slip to 11 I would be one happy camper.
Sam Amick of SI.com reports that the Portland Trail Blazers could look to trade up from the No. 6 spot to the No. 3 pick held by the Washington Wizards in order to select Syracuse guard Dion Waiters.
----------------------------
One executive said on Wednesday night that Cleveland (No. 4) was under the impression that Portland was attempting to use its No. 6 pick to get Washington's No. 3 pick and draft Syracuse shooting guard Dion Waiters. Then Yahoo! Sports reported that the Cavs -- who were at the front of that line of teams trying to get to No. 2 in order to pick Florida shooting guard Bradley Beal -- were seriously considering Waiters at No. 4.
While Waiters is known to be in the Cavs' mix, sending out the message that he's their guy at No. 4 could lead to Beal's landing in their lap. Here's that scenario: The Bobcats select Kansas power forward Thomas Robinson, as many expect them to do if they keep the No. 2 pick. Then the Trail Blazers, if successful in obtaining the third pick, take Waiters there, leaving Beal to Cleveland.
I think Zeller is a safe pick. I think it's a lock that he'll be a very solid starting C for 10 years. He's a well rounded big.
OH MAN, the smoke is thick
