Stomp..... you ask me a question several times about players, knowing that you're looking to bait more than discuss as always, I answer it with skepticism! From that my writing style is flagged "vitriol" by "YOU OF ALL PEOPLE"?

you're the one whining about being "attacked" silly, when all the poster did was turn your own words on you to express their opinion. My use of the word vitriol was fine as I was being sarcastic about the notion of you being attacked by your own mean words... such a surprise that you didn't pick up on this.

as far as your answer to my DE question, you came back with theories about how 245-260 lb guys were "too small" compared to the 230lb guy you trumpet. You claim that Buckner is fast (5.03 40 time), but Lake (4.8), Kamp (4.9) and Washington (4.7) were all credited with faster 40s coming out of HS. All three also had excellent GPAs in HS ranging from 3.3 to 3.6... as a UO grad, I like that. In general I'm rooting for all the young Ducks, not just this year's crop, so I'd hardly be disappointed if Buckner comes on strong. But for the sake of discussion I'm making the case for the bigger faster and more experienced players ahead of DB who you seem to know nothing about.

I'm about Duck football, you're here to irritate people on an Anonymous Message Board .... WOW! STOMP,BULLY, whatever you want to call yourself... Laters!

whatever you say :rolleyes2: I'm trying to inject a little bit of reality into your fantasy world. As the old saying goes, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink... oh well

I see..... I answer a question you asked me several times to answer with my opinion and it doesn't meet "your" standards so it's "nonsense" or "fantasy' or whatever else you can think to say.... I said 6'7 is bigger than 6'3 and that seemed strange to you as well.... I said we need size on the D line in "my opinion" and that by you and PtldPlatypus was an attack on our players and our coaching decisions, even though everyone the Ducks have recruited on the D line this year except for Balducci is 6'5 +.... That might also tell ya the coaches are seeing things more my direction than yours....hmmm...Let's "REMEMBER" all this coming from "YOUR" original question, you keeping up with this Sparky? Soooooo..... either you can't read, don't "REALLY" want another opinion, or you're just an internet bully, whatever it may be this entire outcome has come from you PESTERING me about my "opinion" on some undersized D Line guys.... 6'2 and 6'3 is short for D line... Sorry if you disagree! We'll see who starts...

Now go kick a puppy or do whatever a guy calling himself STOMP does! Laters...

DLineman under 6'5 recruited this past cycle included 6'4 Adolphus Washington, 6'4 Eddie Goldman, 6'2 Faith Ekakitie, 6'4 Darius Hamilton, 6'3 Aziz Shittu, 6'3 Justin Solis, 6'2 Sheldon Day, 6'3 Vincent Valentine & 6'1 DE Jeremy Castro. One of their two DLine offers out right now is to 6'3 DT Scott Pagano.

That might also tell ya the coaches are seeing things more my direction than yours....hmmm...

it tells me you truly don't know what you're talking about

the coaches have said many times that they like longer taller players along their DLine, but quite clearly their actions show thats hardly the end all be all deciding factor. If the coaches saw things more your direction (whoever is tallest and has the most stars is best), they wouldn't be starting 6'3 2* Wade Keliikipi above 6'5 4* Ricky Heimuli, 6'6 3* Isaac Remington while having 6'5 4* Jared Ebert Redshirt. Why did they continue to start 6'3 Terrell Turner while having 6'4 Lake Koa Ka-ai & 6'5 Sam Kamp Redshirt if 6'3 is too short in their view?

6'2 and 6'3 is short for D line... Sorry if you disagree! We'll see who starts...

I thought that 6'5 Kamp & 6'4 Lake were too short, what changed?

feel free to disagree with Kelly and Allioti, I'll continue side with their judgment and enjoy the ride. Maybe you should write them and explain why they've got it all wrong

Now go kick a puppy or do whatever a guy calling himself STOMP does!

awwww, someone needs a nap... I'm off to play some hoops :)

This is very simple STOMP! Don't make this so hard. Be accountable here! You asked me my "OPINION" on several players SEVERAL times. I finally with skepticism answered your now PROVEN taunt to only be ridiculed for answering your questions. Than you pepper your posts with insulting adjectives describing my lack of football knowledge mulitple times yet again, while spicing it up further with mental diagnosis, truly classy btw. If you don't want others opinions or are only doing it to taunt them into some sort of Stomp Session to make you feel better about whatever goes on in your day, than don't ask others for their opinions. Fair enough?

As for have the Ducks, they've gotten much taller on the defensive line with this current class as I've suggested multiple times. Clever to go back a year to try and strenghten your weak arguement though. HAHA! I think Chip and Allioti are going the exact direction I thought they'd go. It takes a Rose Bowl win, true national exposure and the reality that the SEC isn't getting any smaller so if we plan to win it all ,these steps must be taken. I don't care if you agree on this or not.

The CURRENT RECRUIT proof is here.....

Bair 6'8, AA 6'8, DeForest Buckner 6'7, Cody Carriger 6'6, Terence Daniel 6'6, Evan Bayliss 6'5,

Laters.....

oh please with the innocent victim BS. Your posts are regularly insulting to anyone who doesn't agree with your convoluted nonsense, and you've thrown quite a few direct insults my way in this little back and forth. You dish it out but can't take it

Someone can hold the opinion that up is down, but they'd be laughably wrong. Claiming that the SEC defenses have 3-4 inches and 100 pounds per man over Oregon's is worthy of ridicule especially considering LSU's dominant, yet smaller then Oregon, D. As the saying goes, you're entitled to your own opinion but you don't get your own set of facts. I'm trying to help you get your facts straight

As for have the Ducks, they've gotten much taller on the defensive line with this current class as I've suggested multiple times. Clever to go back a year to try and strenghten your weak arguement though.

You stated they didn't recruit one DLineman under 6'5 in the last cycle. I listed 9 and there were more. It's not very clever of you struggling to connect these dots

....and the reality that the SEC isn't getting any smaller so if we plan to win it all ,these steps must be taken. I don't care if you agree on this or not

forget about me, reality doesn't agree with you. LSU's defense was smaller then Oregon's and yet they dominated the SEC. It's about talent not height

The CURRENT RECRUIT proof is here.....

Bair 6'8, AA 6'8, DeForest Buckner 6'7, Cody Carriger 6'6, Terence Daniel 6'6, Evan Bayliss 6'5,

Those guys were 2012 Oregon recruits who committed. The sub 6'5 guys I listed in my previous post were 2012 Oregon recruits who didn't commit. Most of those guys I listed were 4 & 5* recruits. Accept reality that Kelly/Allioti recruited talented DLineman in Arik's class who were as short as 6'1 Jeremy Castro who Oregon not only recruited but offered and accepted his verbal commitment. Or, feel free to continue to ignore reality in favor of your theories and prove something entirely different then what you're intending

Stomp? Simple.... ignore list! Done! Real Easy! Go be crazy on another poster! Laters! WOW!

Lets get this back on track please

Haven't seen it posted on here yet but Eddie Vanderdoes finally got his offer today. Some people were becoming upset that we hadn't offered him yet (none on here that I know of) and there is no longer any reason to worry.

Some tweets and retweets by him. He seems really excited.

#Oregon has offered four-star DE Eddie Vanderdoes from Placer, Calif. Ducks are considered one of his favorites

"I'm very excited, this is one I was waiting for," NorCal DL Eddie Vanderdoes said upon being offered by #Oregon

Eddie would be a great get and a huge anchor piece to our Statement Defense! That said, I expect UW, USC and Stanford to all push huge to get this kid!

Scout puts outs there rankings finally.

sorry not sure I follow

Agreed, but get a kid out here for a visit and you never know.

He means the Nike Sparq combine "The Opening". I believe it's held in Oregon.

SoCal DLineman Joe Mathis is expected to get an offer sometime this spring. His offers list is as impressive as his 'fro, but he's stated to rivals that an Oregon offer would put them in his top group along with USC Nebraska and Oklahoma. He's excited to visit Eugene for the first time saying that his older sister called it beautiful.

Texas RB Dontre Wilson has relayed that he'll be visiting Eugene next Monday on his Spring Break. He wants to check out track too

DT Scott Pagano sets announcement date on Aug 10. 2012. It's the day of his first senior high school football game.

I've also heard his dad is a huge Duck fan.

Georgia QB Anthony Jennings is planning on visiting Eugene this spring. He's being recruited by much of the SEC, but questions exist because of a knee injury he suffered his Jr. year. Schools (like UO) want to have their Docs check him out in person before they offer. Anthony has family in the NW and his mother grew up here

Whelp, we lost JT Barret to Buckeyes.

Hopefulyl we can get Troy Williams

I think your going to see some flipping once the Ducks take out USC! Remember everyone knows we have Thomas Tyner coming in next year to play with the Mamba and once the world see's Mariota play, it's all OOOOO in my opinion! We'll see.......

Connor O'Brien recently visited on an unofficial and absolutely was raving about Oregon afterwords especially enjoying taking in one of their frenetic practices. He has an offer and probably projects at outside LB

You looks like a poorman's Clay Matthews. I like it!

Also, here's to hoping we get Troy Williams as well. Jeff Lockie doesn't really do it for me :/

Just found out that Tyler Johnstone the recruit out of Arizona is a kid that used to live down the block from me. I used to hangout with his sister in high school and she had this annoying little brother. That little brother got big. The family moved her Junior year. I think the rest of the family lives in the Northwest. No wonder he chose Oregon.

few new offers out...Virginia RB Derrick Green & Kentucky WR James Quick. Oregon also offered De La Salle DE Austin Hooper making him the 3rd kid from the Northern California powerhouse with a Duck offer.

other news... speed demon Texas RB Dontre Wilson will announce between Oregon and Texas on May 25th. Stud Georgia DT Montravius Adams doesn't have an offer yet but expects one soon and is planning on taking one of his officials in the fall to Eugene... maybe he'll trip with Nkemdiche?

I'm sure more names will leak out of expected attendees to next weekend's Spring game as it draws closer, but California DT Eddie V has already confirmed.

Money says Hooper and Hutchins are good friends..... This could turn into one hell of a defensive unit!!
