For what, I am not sure. I would guess Neil would have something in place though. Or at least an idea of something in place. Unless they think CJ is the backup point guard and they plan on bringing either Allen or Wes off the bench.

Well you wouldn't get much back for him because you can't package him with anyone else. A player you just traded for can only be traded again alone.

The latest I've heard is that the Knicks and Pacers will be offering Allen the full MLE, and Milwaukee and Houston may exceed that. Memphis will be willing to match... to an extent. I really hope the new Grizzlies owners don't cheap out on Allen though. He's more than just the league's best defender... he's really the motor of this franchise.

Man, I hope not, but best of luck to ya'll... if our new ownership group cheaps out on this one, it might be time for me to take hiatus as a fan.

It seems like the community's really trying their part to keep him in town though. He just won the "Spirit of Memphis Award," whatever that is... and he made an autograph signing appearance this Saturday with lines out the door. I think the community might be more interested in keeping him than Pera (the new owner) and fucking John Hollinger...

Yeah man, I'm happy for Marc, but not only did he not really deserve it, the real deserving DPOY was his own teammate... this was the third year in a row that Allen got snubbed.
