Does anyone else find it hilarious that Marcus Camby is going in reverse through the teams in his career? Back to the Knicks and now with the team that drafted him. I find it very amusing.

Well, the thought would be that Howard will be camped out in the paint. Plus, you have to consider that Harden gets into the paint quite a bit as well. The key is going to be mighty crowded if it's Harden, Smith, and Dwight.
Good. After we helped them out by taking Robinson off their hands, their little chemistry experiment blows up in their face. Perfect. :)

Source tells me the Hawks are hoping Howard goes to Houston if its not them, plan on offering to s&t Smith for Asik or get Asik outright.

I'm not sure I'm buying it.

I guess I just see that as a waste of his skills.

Kind of like Al Jefferson, he CAN play PF, but he has so many more advantages at C.

I think he and Al Jeff are pretty undersized for centers. Their natural positions really should be power forward.

lol what does his range have to do with anything? He's a PF.

I have heard Dwight mention in the past that he plays best with a stretch 4 like Ryan Anderson. So Josh Smith is a surprise, but I guess if they are really good friends then he may be blinded by the fact that Josh plays best around the hoop or in transition.

Atlanta has a great shot at being a full blown tank master.

Get rid of horford's salary; have a semi decent team to work in a wiggins as the man. Have a shit ton of cap space to build in a stacked free agent class in 2014. Perfect storm?

Darren Collison is unrestricted since Dallas didn't extend qualifying offer. Collison wants to join a contender, source tells @TheRocketGuy.

Hmmm.... Collison for backup point guard? Wonder how much he'll get.

Thats what I was thinking with the whole if they strike out in FA thread.

And apparently the bucks are trying to poach Teague from them.

Don't know if this is old news in this thread, but apparently Rondo is upset with the recent Garnett/Pierce trade and wants the Celtics to get Josh Smith -

They don't have cap space, so I guess it'd have to be a sign-and-trade. Maybe they could send Humphries and some of Brooklyn's picks to Atlanta in a sign-and-trade. That would really play into Atlanta's "building towards the future" plan, with Humphries coming off the books next summer.

Portland isn't a contender....

And they don't have to worry about the fans. They have absolutely zero support; even when they were a playoff team. The fans can wait and maybe adding wiggins can bring fan support back.

The dude is 290 lbs. He is big enough IMO, just is not worth the salary he will get. No D

So trading Wes for Gortat and signing Mayo doesn't seem as bad now...

Yeah and LeBron's natural position is SF, but he is a dominant PF as well.

I think in the new NBA, with smaller and more athletic PF's, Horfords advantages lie at C.

I disagree. I think most coaches do to. He's always started at C because Smith made more sense at PF than SF.

Y! Sources: Golden State exploring trade possibilities on David Lee and $44M left on his contract.
