The whole West will be tough though. Wouldn't be surprised if Jazz or Hornets actually got 8th.

You both made the same mistake I did. Just corrected it. They are the New Orleans PELICANS.

This is pretty much team for team what I would put.

Hornets play out East now and might actually be good.
They will be a home court team if lance fits well and they are on the same page. Probably a year out from that kind of chemistry.

I'm just listing my top 8
Spurs
Blazers
Clippers
Mavs
Thunder
Grizzlies
Rockets

You seem to be forgetting that Westbrook has been injured each of the last two years. I'm not convinced his body is capable of playing as hard as he will have to to carry that team to a winning record for 2 months. Then you wonder how they handle Durant coming back. I don't think you just throw the reigning MVP out there unless he is 100%.

He played in all 82 regular season games in 2012-13

I pick the Thunder to finish 4th. Certainly Durant can rally them to HCA in the last 4 months of the season. No one picked the Thunder to finish first.

Wow. No Warriors. No faith in Kerr?

I think the Warriors get exposed this season and Kerr will experiment and take a year to find continuity with the team..I'd have them at 9 and I hate Lee and Bogut so there's that part

I'm taking a gamble on the Suns being better and the Grizzlies too

I think Grizzlies are on the downturn. Randolph is well past his prime. So is new addition Vince Carter.

I think Carter gives them exactly what they've lacked, bench scoring. They've needed it for years and they're a top notch defensive team

The Warriors have as fair a shot at #1 in the west as The Clippers, Spurs, and Blazers do. Steve Kerr is a perfect fit and the signing of the offseason coaching wise.

I'm jinxing them at every opportunity..Kerr is a rookie coach, I love the guy's IQ but he has to manage minutes and timeouts, etc and he's never done that. Curry and Bogut are injury prone. I think we sweep the Warriors. I think the Mavs are dangerous

I think people forgets how terrible a coach Kerr was in Phoenix. He's a smart guy, maybe too smart for his own good.

He's a great color guy though

Kerr never coached in Phoenix. He was the GM. I didn't think he was that bad of a GM.

He drafted Robin Lopez and Dragic.
