Sounds like a great guy. I like him. Hopefully he becomes a legit 4* by many services.

Let's hope Hoeim isn't catholic and guilable(nudgenudgewinkwink)

lol I kid. I'm sure he'll do great.

Also, I heard that Adoree' Jackson was raised in Illinois so he will check out Notre Dame. Considering how successful they have been on the defensive side the ball, I wouldn't be surprised.

a rivals writer recently claimed that the Ducks put out 87 offers for the 2013 class but they've already put out 29 this year. The way kids were committing early last year, I'd imagine most every coaching staff is being aggressive early.

That's cool. What are our current offers as of now?

click this link to access rivals recruiting database. Query it for UO and also only recruits with offers

I'm clicking on Oregon(for teams) and uncommitted prospetcs. Offers coming up is nothing :T. Must be clicking something wrong...where do I click anyway?

after you've selected Oregon and only prospects with offers scroll to the bottom and click search

Awesome thanks.

We have more offers in the southeast than I thought! We're even in the running for that monster OT Orlando Brown. Though beating out Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Ohio State will be tough. And Michigan can use the Taylor Lewan and pro-style offense as a potential lure.

What worries me is no interior D-lineman offers outside of Hayes(and he's already committed to be Louis Nix's successor). Nifae looks to be a Stanford lock given how they have played Defense as a lure, and let's not go onto their education

Michel looks to be staying close to home or following Greg Bryant to South Bend I'm afraid. We gonna try offering him? Has he been intrigued by Oregon at all?

Colorado RB Christian McCaffrey will be visiting UO next week as part of a West coast tour of schools. He's already visited some SEC schools (including Bama) and has visits to several other top schools planned

Speaking of Bama, they recently offered McGraw.

Not good not good not good.... Hope he and Christian stay..

McGraw getting big offers is not unexpected. his top-3 then top-12 seems he will be keeping his recruitment for awhile.

a 247 poster stated Oregon is expecting 2-3 commits by end of april. This was before hoiem, not sure if we was one of the expectations. I no longer think McGraw has a good shot at being one of them.

Great. What about Oregon offering that one safety in Arizona? JR Hunt I believe his name was? And we should push hard for McGraw. Maybe he can copy what Shane Morris and that linebacker for Michigan did in their senior years and recruit other players. McGraw would be a big land from the south. Maybe he could even convince Speedy Noil.

McGraw is planning on visiting Oregon this april, hopefully he keeps that plan. Both parties Oregon, and McGraw should know more after that.
No need to rush, just wait and see how the unofficial goes.

Well that's great. Hopefully we can nab him.

Still, not much news yet, not even with Nic Purcell?

So much for locking down our state. Shouldn't Dion Jordan be a recruiting pitch?

Or is Scott Critchon being their pitch?

as relayed before, he grew up a Beaver fan and stated publicly a few months back that it seemed UO was backing off. My guess is the writing was on the wall as to where he'd end up... best of luck to the kid

Well that's great :Y. Ah well.

Whats the status on the other Oregon-born recruits?

I agree, and he seems shorter than the DL that Aliotti is recruiting these day. I'm sure he'll fit in well OS and be a very good player, but the Ducks' are trending toward a 3-4 flex these days with a Dion Jordan type being able to drop into coverage or rush the passer. 6-6 and rangy seems to be the future of the Duck "DE".

So we'll mold Prevot into an OLB then who can do what Dion did then?

Still, got to grab interior D-line...we all have seniors except Balducci...

Armstead played much of the year at DT, and Bair is slated to play inside too. They will be looking to add a few more though

We will need NTs if we are playing in a 3-4. You think Armstead can be a NT? He has the molds to be a DT/DE instead...

Ah, well that's good news

Ah, well that's good news

Armstead and Buckner both are well-suited to play either end or 2-gap NT in a 3-4ish. I won't call what the Ducks do a true 3-4, because Jordan lined up everywhere and they did play some true 4-3 at times with him. Taylor Hart or Wade Keliikipi will most likely be that 2-gap NT in most formations.

I don't think neither Armstead of Buckner could play a true NT like a Sharrif Floyd or Sheldon Richardson could right. Or are we a 4-3?

do you recall who was Oregon's NT when they played in the National Championship game?
