Oregon Offers JUCO QB - Preferred Walk-On
Cory Fravel reported on Monday Oregon had offered Blinn C.C. (Kan.) QB Kylen Binn a preferred walk-on offer. This is not a scholarship offer. With Binn measuring in at 6-foot-6 this makes him an intriguing prospect worth noting.
Zaru's notes: Walk-on to Cardale Jones pls happen
Oregon DE Target Re-Classifies to 2015
Keith Niebuhr of AuburnUndercover.com reports Prince Tega Wanogho Jr. has re-classified from 2016 to 2015. Oregon is attempting to visit him this Friday and possibly lock in an official visit for this month. Wanogho is a 6-foot-8, 250-pound defensive end from Georgia.
Auburn appears to be the team to beat.
Zaru: Prince was born overseas and came here at age 15 or so. Our unis and facilities could impress him and we cna pitch the "play immediately" what with Armstead leaving for the draft. Plus he doesn't have the loyalty to the Alabama schools though Auburn coudl get him.
Oregon Targets Indiana 'Hidden Gem'
Oregon has also offered
Ramone Atkins, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound quarterback from Merrillville (Ind.). Atkins has attended the Manning passing academy where Mariota helped. His family informs DuckTerritory, Atkins is seriously considering the offer.

Zaru's notes: I guess this means we're no go for Murray. Oh well.
Oregon Targets Vandy Commit
The Ducks are talking to Vanderbilt commit
Josh Smith and the interest is mutual at least. The 4-star inside linebacker stands at 6-foot-3, 228-pounds and is the No. 5 inside linebacker in the nation per 247Sports. An official visit hasn't been set but the staff should be out to see him later this week and solidify things.
I would definitely keep a sharp eye on this linebacker target to see where things progress.
I feel good about our chances with Smith than with Houston. Vandy has struggled while Oregon has made great progress in the state of Tennessee. Let's focus on him and Folau.
Oregon Targets Alabama Commit
Oregon has also been talking to Alabama linebacker Joshua McMillion. The four-star backer has been committed to Alabama since August and in recent updates seems pretty locked in with the Tide. However it's recruiting and stranger things have happened, so at least keep a eye open here to see if anything develops.
Zaru: DAT-like chance?
A few More Walk-On Targets
Oregon is evaluating a dynamic receiver named
Kerrick Jones out of.... you guessed it Tennessee. Jones tells me Oregon is expected to come by later this week and evaluate him further. Listed at 6-foot, 177-pounds I expect he ends up with a preferred walk-on offer.

Down in Mesquite (Texas) Oregon has been in conversation with 6-foot-2, 215-pound linebacker C.J. Hill. Hill tells me he has a walk-on offer from Oregon and is considering the option.

Condiff is back. Malik Condiff, who originally signed with Washington State and was set to enroll at USC as a walk-on tells me he will now walk on at Oregon. The former Torrance (Calif.) receiving star is listed at 6-foot, 187-pounds.
