So what do you guys think of Kyler Murray keeping in contact with the Oregon coaches?

So we are using that pitch to him? Hopefully it can work!
How does anyone see that these sanctions come into play? Losing one scholarship is not big deal but I wonder about the paid visit limitations?
For the next three years the team will only be allowed to host 37 official paid visits for recruits, down from the maximum 56. For the past four years the team has only averaged 41 visits per season.
in addition to that, the past 4 years the Ducks have significantly been behind the pace that they're on this season filling up this class. While kids who've committed rightfully will want to take one of those 37 trips, by their standards they've plenty of trips left over to fill the rest of their needs. I've read some grousing that this or that kid is too much of a longshot to deserve one of their precious trips, but I'm guessing they'll probably have a few unused when alls said and done.
Overall things seem to be going great with recruiting. While the sanctions in and of themselves aren't helping matters, having the cloud that was hanging over the program of potentially much stiffer penalties cleared up seems to be the big step forward. Other programs can't be doing the negative recruiting putting doubts into kids minds about Oregon potentially getting a bowl ban etc...

Oh wow. Nice. Didn't see that coming.
Guess we have moved on from Byron then.
Just what we need, another 6'6 sub 260 DE who plays off the edge and wont stop the inside run. Recruited not by our D line coach or D Coordinator either... hmmm... Don't you think it's odd that your position coach isn't your primary recruiter?
Once again mouth you're on top of it! Gus has the frame that coaches want to put 35+ pounds on.... know many LB's that are 6'6 285? They want him as a DE so when I say I'm surprised the D Line coach wasn't his primary recruiter that's exactly what I meant!
Interior d linemen are a must. Football is won in the trenches. After that, what separates the good from great teams is speed. However, without size, you are an also ran before you start
Question, who is coming to the UCLA game, or in this case, who is going on OVs to UCLA this saturday?
according to our football know it all, Oregon's DLine coach can't recruit or coach. Never mind that Coach Aiken has had 17 years of college and 6 in the pros as a D coordinator, Swim Block has spoken. You know who hasn't got the word?
3* Raequan Williams 6-6 280 November 21
5* Byron Cowart 6-3 252 November 22
5* Keisean Lucier-South 6-6 220 October 31
5* Josh Sweat 6-5 240 October 31
4* Russell Ude 6-3 264 October 31
5* Rasheem Green 6'4 290 October 18
3* Drayton Carlberg 6-5 281 October 18
3* Rex Manu 6-3 290 September 5
4* Canton Kaumatule 6-7 290 October 31
4* Neville Gallimore 6'3 305 Nov 1st
Can anyone else recall a recruiting cycle with even half of those top DLine prospects visiting Eugene... I can't. In addition, 6'4 298 4* Terry Beckner Jr is supposed to visit Eugene in Dec or Jan but isn't setting any of his OVs or even talking recruiting until his HS season is completed. Thank goodness we live in reality eh?

How many of those are interior lineman?
Have any actually given a verbal to Oregon?
Again, not being a little shit, honestly wondering
So you're saying you think on a year where we haven't recruited a DT for three + years and may lose two of our starting interior D tackles to the pros and having no quality backups we may in fact see some urgency to do so? We should pay you for this insight! I swear you're a prophet!![]()
