Sullinger now a UFA as Bos renounces - let Leonard go and try to sign him and reshape our front line? Move Plumlee and Vonleh as Sully is only 24 and fits our timeline. Start Ezeli and Aminu, 2nd unit Sully and Davis, Sully has played some C and both he and davis are somewhat flexible at the Pf/C positions. Trade Plums and make the decision on Vonleh or Meyers as the extra big. I think we'd have to renounce Meyers or Hark to have enough cap to give Sully a decent contract, I'd ley Meyers go and then look to perhaps trade Plumlee for a backup SG to take Crabbes place

Okafor unhappy with the Sixers wanting to trade him. The value might just have dropped once again.

It you waived both, it only gives like 7 more after the qo

We can't really get Okafor though I'd really like that.

But maybe we could get Sullinger if the price is right? Trade Davis for a pick and release Crabbe and Leonard.

if Crabbe leaves and we renounce Meyers doesn't that give us around 7-9 mil? We could also trade Plums and that's another 2.3 mil I believe. I need to recheck the cap stuff. I would try to give Sully an Ezeli type contract

I think I'd keep Davis and let Plums go because of the Davis contract and Plums is due to get paid next summer

When the heat won back to back it wasn't just the big 3, it was the contributions by guys like Ray Allen, Mike Miller, and Mario Chalmers. Warriors still have some pieces to back up their string 4 man group, but the lost a lot of those guys who will do anything/everything out on the court.

David west is basically their saving grace. Zaza is a downgrade from Ezeli and Bogut.
David west is older than hills he has lost step or two and they have no rim Procter Zaza is rebounder that its.

I don't get the Ezeli love.

It's really about what he brings when he's healthy. He's one of the elite rim protectors in the league when you look at fg% within 6 feet. He held opponents to 7.3% less than league average. As a comparsison, the best in the league, DeAndre Jordan was -7.7 last year.

I would love to pick up Barbosa as a bench piece...he's old as dirt but has a lot of game left. Could replace Henderson with the bench mob and he can shoot the 3

didn't he sign with someone? I thought I read that, not sure though as memory ain't what it used to be - just checked he did sign with Phoenix

Hey, do we have any exceptions left to sign Rudy Fernandez back? Asking for a friend.

You need a big exception to sign Rudy. I think we only have 3M.

Realistic player to replace Crabbe I'd want is McLemore - he can do what Crabbe does for less that 1/4 of the cost. He shot the 3-ball at 36% past 2 yrs on a crappy Sac team, bet that would go up IMO at least 2% with Blazers given that he'd get a lot better looks

Totally agree. I'd like him too, but it's difficult to get him as all we have to offer is bigs and they have a lot too.

I think a 3-way trade would have to be worked out, Plumlee to somewhere, Mclemore to Por, and ? to Sac. It's very doable IMO if the right pieces can be found - what does Sac want? Or Vonleh for McLemore straight up?

Seems like we'd need to move Plumee for a pick in a three way or send one of our picks to Sacramento. Not sure what they'd be looking for (who knows with Divac), but I've thought McLemore might be a good idea too.

more I think about it our 2018 Cle 1st probably gets it done, problem is salary match, if Crabbe goes I believe we get back 2.7 mil as capspace, McLemore makes 4 mil - throw in one of our cheap guys like Connaughton or Montero

I would love to get Sullinger, but at this point I don't see how that would work, unless we renounced all our RFA guys.

I mentioned earlier that if we tried to get Sully we'd likely renounce Meyers - that frees up 7.5 mil and if Crabbe leaves that should be another 2.7 mil, so we'h have close to 10 mil I think - don't think I'd pay Sully more than that

Good point... and right now I would definitely take Sullinger over Leonard.

it would be nice to have some post scoring, seems like Sully would be a good rotational guy, supposedly a fairly decent defender and rebounder. I'd much rather have him than one dimensional Meyers with a risky shoulder

Sullinger and McLemore in place of Crabbe and Leonard would balance out our roster pretty well.

Dame/CJ/Turner/Sullinger/Ezeli with McLemore/Harkless/Aminu/Davis/Plumlee. I could go for that.
