Adrian Wojnarowski

0:50: Mannix and Woj discuss the upcoming free-agency craziness.

5:05: How locker rooms will be impacted by inflated salaries this summer.

7:15: What should we expect from Kevin Durant’s free agency?

14:20: The players who are likely to re-sign with their current teams, including DeMar DeRozan.

17:43: Al Horford’s free agency and what comes next for the Hawks.

21:34: Will a team quickly offer Harrison Barnes a big offer to try and hurt the Warriors?

26:17: Dwight Howard’s free agency and how the league views him.

31:43: Hassan Whiteside’s free agency and the difficult position the Heat are in.

35:25: The Spurs’ offseason plans, including targeting Pau Gasol.

38:20: The dysfunctional Sacramento Kings.

43:41: Ricky Rubio’s future with the Timberwolves.

46:04: Bismack Biyombo’s lucrative playoff run.
What does Minny want for Rubio? He would be a good 3rd guard with Dame & CJ. Provide passing/defense while letting Dame/CJ play off the ball.

Is Boston really that cool? It always kinda looked like a shit hole to me, and the people are tools.

I like Boston, but I am old, white, and married. I agree, I can't see the appeal for rich black athletes. Chicago, NY, and even Toronto...yes. But not Boston.

Its amazing how the Warriors have gone from my 2nd favorite team a few years ago to a team that just bugs the shit out of me now

It's inevitable. San Antonio is about the only team I can think of that never bugged me once they became champs. Every other team, fan base, and super star, has ended up bugging the shit out of me. Of course I hate SA now...

San Antonio never used to go after every major free agent.... But Duncan is older than shit and Manu/Parker aren't stars anymore.

For players like Durant and Horford, it's all about legacy. Even though the guy at the end of this video is awesome, they don't want to end up like him:

Well..... let me add to that...

Are we not meeting with them because Neil didn't think it was a realistic endeavor (not that we wouldn't love to have them), or are we not meeting with them because they said no?

I'm hoping Portland can start bugging the shit out of other fans too. You do that by winning. Now we are just a cute story that has already been forgotten by every fan base but ours

I dunno. If I'm a Minny fan I'd be a little annoyed about the Game of Zones episode with the Brothers with 1 Banner.

I find it interesting that Horford is being linked to literally 8 teams and Portland isnt one of them. Come to think of it, the only player Portland's been linked to is Whiteside. I know Olshey keeps it close to the vest but I have to wonder if they're going all in on HW with a backup plan being some sort of trade

No, I just think this front office keeps things tight to the vest. I don't recall hearing we were making a play for Roy Hibbert until he agreed to sign the offer sheet. It's just the way these guys operate. Expect the unexpected (and I suppose, then, expect it to be torn away).

The meetings with hibbert, Monroe etc were all public knowledge either the eve of FA or the day before..so I guess well find out tomorrow or Thursday.

Portland has also been linked to Dwight Howard maybe even more than Whiteside

The fact that we're not being mentioned with most of these guys is either concerning...... or Neil is so confident he can get Whiteside that he isn't talking to Horford.

Neil might realize Horford's heading somewhere or has narrowed his choices. Millsap though...that would be sweet

Maybe Neil went in with the strategy we suggested, where he goes all in for the best possible player he thought we could land. Make him feel special like he is the only one we want. (Ergo no mention of anyone else) He probably found out the list for Horford is longer, and our chances were not as good. I expect Neil to go all in for Whiteside.....then shift gears quickly if it does not work out.

I am sure he has multiple plans, but it does seem like Whiteside is plan A.

While I think Horford would be an amazing addition to this team, maybe Olshey doesn't think Horford fits Dame's supposed "window". He is older than our core of guys and just last summer, Olshey stated that he was trying to add guys that fit into Dame's age window and career trajectory. Having a better than expected season last year probably didn't change that assessment and goal. I could see Horford falling outside of those goals.

With how little talk howard has generated, it wouldnt surprise me if he is who we wanted.

Whiteside sounds like its between us, lakers and heat and i honestly think he signs with the lakers.

If neil is a good deep throater, i think if he showed up at howards doorstep at 12:01 its game over.

Olshey said just a month ago he would be willing to sign proven vets to accellerate things

FWIW, Quick said that Horford is the type of play Olshey Loves.

Got ya. The age thing has been the main reason I haven't been thinking of Horford as a legit free agent option. It will be interesting to see if Olshey changes up his plans.

He thinks the Clippers are proposing to trade either Blake or DeAndre for basically cap space if Durant wanted to play with CP3.
Oh the personal irony if the Blazers picked up Jordan for cap space (considering my glee at his inability to make a freaking free throw).
