So is Dallas keeping Parson's? Nic at the 3 and Parson's at the 4 and Dirk at the 5? That would work at the end of games.
I read they'll let Parsons walk..Cuban has a thing for ex Blazers these days..next he'll sign Steve Blake and Jarret Jack

One thing I haven't heard in all the "Durant will wait 1 year to see what Russ does" stuff...who's to say Russ doesn't do the same thing next year? Take a 1+1 to get to HIS 10-year mark? Then what's KD gonna do, just accept his option and go again? At that point he IS leaving massive money on the table.

Crabbe+Blake Griffin is better than CJ+Aminu or whoever we start at the four.

If our starting lineup was

Dame
Crabbe
Harkless
Griffin
Whiteside

That's a pretty damn good starting unit. Better than:

Dame
CJ
Harkless
Aminu
Whiteside

All of the different people the Mavs are looking at makes me wonder if that can only make us look more attractive

I sure hope Dwight is the first guy we contact/meet with at 9:01 then.

So if Dame is in Portland for his camp, how is he meeting with free agents?

Is there any scenario where Portland could afford Anderson + Howard while retaining Harkless and Crabbe?

If both Howard and Anderson accept contracts starting at $16M, and we renounce Leonard, then it could happen.

Personally, I think both will get larger deals than that, so most likely no.

Ugh.... 9 more hours before anything can even start to happen.

Yeah, Howard is going to want more than the $23 million he opted out of. And all it takes is one idiot suitor (Cuban) to give it to him. I'm more worried that we are going to end up bidding against ourselves for Howard.

How the hell can LAC afford Durant?
they can't. They would have to renounce all their free agents and trade Redick and Pierce for cap space in order to be able to offer him about $2M less than his max.

maybe not, from what I've read he appears to want more years than max money, who really knows though

The article really doesnt even make sense. First he says that they are sending all three and the selling point is for Durant to take less than max to play with a big 4 bu then goes on to say that Blake is the most likely to get traded. Why would you send a player that is getting traded?

I read somewhere else that they sent all three because if they didn't, it could signal who they would trade, and if it fell through..... that could go bad for LAC.

prolly just mentioning it so they have a "worst" case scenario, they will have the players there for the first part, and then have them leave when the money talks start and let Durant know they can make trades if he wont take a discount and ask him who he would want traded lol
