Magic with a solid move.
Have a lot of money to spend, but can't sign anyone? afraid you're going to do something desperate and stupid?? sign Jeff Green for a 1 year contract today and avoid being the butt of jokes on twitter and amongst your peers!

It's a great move. Sign a player who's very naturally talented but inconsistent and hope he puts it together. If he can't then you only have him signed for one year anyway.

Payton/Fournier/Green/Ibaka/Vucevic backed up by Augustin/Herzonja/Gordon/FA Center is a playoff team in the east.
 
Durant met with the Clippers for 4 hours, was said to be "wowed" and that his "mind was blown" by their pitch
 
I'm surprised more team aren't trying to get Rondo. That guy had a great comeback year.
 
We are currently living in a world where Darrell "tossed out of Rookie Camp for pot smoking" Arthur (34 games started over the last 7 years, PER over 12 once in his life) will make 23M over the next 3 years (7.7M per). Chief Aminu will make 22M over the next 3. Ed Davis makes 6.6M per.

Would it be so bad if they signed him? That team lives and dies with Chris Paul and he always gets injured at the worst time.

He makes a lot more sense on the Clippers than on the Warriors.

Plus they'd have to get rid of out quite a bit of talent ot make room

We have come to live in a world where Jared Dudley gets a 3 year 30 million dollar deal at age 31, and a guy named Solomon Hill who averaged 4 points a game gets 52 million over 4 yrs

If I'm Dwayne Wade, personally responsible for generating billions in revenue and value for the company I work for, and I get offered less than Timofy fucking Mozgov, I'd be offended.

No it wouldn't. The Clippers are selling him on a "big 4". Problem is the Clippers need to clear $10M in cap space. Theyd likely trade Redick and Pierce to a third team to clear the space for Durant. The Thunder could take on Redick and trade Singler's salary by throwing in a draft pick (Brooklyn?) and still have enough enough cap space to sign Horford.

They'd need a small forward.. I could see them flipping Ilyasova for a SF. Maybe Wilson Chandler

Westbrook / Oladipo / New SF / Horford / Adams
backed up by
Payne / Redick / Roberson / McGary / Kanter
is a pretty good team.

Or they could take on Redick while trading Kanter for cap space. That'd leave them with $36M to sign Horford and another free agent (Luol Deng)?
