We should offer what we're offering to Pau to Dirk when Pau turns us down. With the shit going on in Dallas he might finally leave (but he won't).

I may be wrong, but I think the Bulls would be foolish to trade Butler, it'd be like us trading Dame last offseason...
I don't know... For that package they'd have to think about it. They'd be awful and likely get 2 top 5 picks next year. Imagine adding a Harry Giles and Jayson Tatum to a Brown/Valentine/Portis core, and then having some $70M in cap space and another high pick from Brooklyn the following year. That approach is more likely to help them build a contender than keeping Butler surrounded by a bunch of bleh.

The nets might still, my gut says they will offer Crabbe something like 4/62.

Yeah they are waiting till we make one more signing then they are gonna drop a poison offer sheet on crabbe

Why don't the mavericks do the offer sheet on Barnes now, and get the Warriors while they have their pants down, waiting on Durant

The draft is such a crapshoot though, Butler is a proven all-NBA type player, those guys just don't grow on trees, if I were Chicago I'd be talking to him and asking what he wants around him. Chicago does have assets to make moves themselves.

One thing I think is pretty clear is Neil has a pretty clear vision of the players Terry needs for his style of coaching. A player like Mahinmi would be virtually worthless to Stotts, he wouldn't use him.

What do they have for a bench?

Rose / ?
Lee / ?
Melo / ?
KP / ?
Noah / ?
Justin holiday, langston galloway, lance thomas, hernangomez is coming over.

They have a room exception to use.

Not great, but obviously they arent done. I could see rose and melo convincing some guys to take a one year vet minimum

Fall back and sign our RFA's. That's what I think should happen. A big can happen later with a trade. Evan turner is an upgrade to the team despite what others think. Just bounce now, focus on the RFA's

I think they still have $10M-$15M in cap space.

We still have $8M that we should use.
