Don't know if anyone's posted this yet but the Warriors are also trying to sign Ray Allen out of retirement...that's just after they picked up West

If Wade goes to Cleveland.... this is like some weird superhero team up movie.

LeBron is Iron Man and Curry is Captain America.
Curry isnt nearly as cool as capt america. He would be more like two face. Cause hes secretly a giant douche

Rumor has it that Denver and Hawks are working on a deal that involves Faried, an unamed player(s) and picks for Millsap
Why would they do that? There was talk of dealing Millsap to make space to re-sign Horford, but that ship has sailed.

What is WAS doing with all these Centers?

They just signed Jason Smith.

That gives em Smith, Nene, Gortat, Seraphin, and Mahinmi.

Seraphin is a FA. So is nene.

I'd look into gortat. Maybe

Never thought I would be rooting for this...

Lance Stephenson's available lol. Could be an extremely cheap replacement option should we sign and trade someone for a big man.

Boogie has 2 seasons left before becoming a FA. Pretty much a foregone conclusion that he leaves Sac. If they want to have any shot at getting value for him, they need to trade the guy within a year.

We gotta get some assets.

Every day that I wake up and don't see a story that Ezeli has signed with another team is a good day. There is still a chance.

How does he help us?
Well, he has more length and size (weight) than any of our other centers. I think he is the best free agent still available that might be obtainable with our remaining cap space. If there is someway we can use that cap space in a trade in the next couple days, great. But if not, then at 8-9 million he would be a good asset for us to have and possibly could make a contribution on the floor as well. He did some good things against the Blazers. I admit that after watching the finals, I posted that I had no interest in Barnes or Ezeli. But at this time, it would feel like some kind of small victory.

How does he help us?
Here is a small segment from a Draft Express piece from when he was still in college. His strength and athleticism as a catch and finish option, his motor and his lateral quickness are the three things that stand out for me. Again, I am not crazy about him, but absent a trade, he seems to be our best option to use our cap space in the next few days. Of course, if he isn't willing to sign for what cap space we have, that would lessen my interest. I guess what struck me when he was playing the Blazers is what power he showed in being able to finish at the basket even with a big defender or two on him. Our guys have some trouble in that kind of situation.

"Utilizing his mobility and leaping ability effectively, Ezeli is a very good catch-and-finish option in the paint. Though he could still stand to improve his hands and forces some shots out of position with his back to the rim that he'd be better served not taking, the senior connects at a 67%-clip in finishing situations, showing the ability to effortlessly play above the rim, sometimes even finishing with dunks over defenders in traffic. Doing a fine job slipping the pick and roll and using block-to-block screens to find space underneath, Ezeli already does a nice job finding opportunities for easy baskets at the rim, something that could continue to improve as he develops his decision-making and gets a better feel for spacing.

Defensively, Ezeli does a nice job utilizing his strength at the rim and his quickness away from it for the most part. Showing a solid motor denying entry passes in the post and quickly regaining good guarding position when his man does get the ball, Ezeli is a solid one-on-one defender down low. He still needs to cut down on his 5.2 fouls per-40 minutes pace adjusted and do a better job finishing plays by going straight up on the shot and then boxing out, but Ezeli's physical tools and energy are assets in the post defensively.

Away from the basket, Ezeli does a decent job defending the pick and roll, and has the lateral quickness to keep up with the vast majority of the centers he's faced in the SEC not named Anthony Davis, but is still a bit too aggressive at times. The same can be said for the way he rotates from the weakside when attempting to block shots. Often taking himself out of position to get a rebound when contesting would be scorers in the paint, if Ezeli can improve his fundamentals, he has the tools to be a solid overall defender, which would only complement his presence as a shot blocker and capable one-on-one defender."

Basically half the games the last two seasons and didn't play the year before that. Is that someone we want to target? He's a decent role player, but I think we could get his production elsewhere.

@Rastapopoulos what is the deal with Ekpe Udoh? Is he going to come back to the NBA this summer with all the money available? He might be a better option for us at Center then Ezeli.
