So MIL has Monroe, Plumlee, Teletovic, Henson, Jabari, and Thon Maker.

Trade has to be coming, right?
So we can't even be the best in the league at hoarding front-line guys?

Parker>Aminu
Teletovic>Leonard
Henson=Davis
Plumlee<Plumlee
Monroe>Vonleh
Maker<Ezeli

Only difference is our team has Dame and CJ as our two best players while they have Giannis and Middleton.

And we have AC and Turner.

Some might argue that Giannis--if played at PG full time--might be better overall than Dame, and Middleton could well be as good as CJ. Give those two a 3-D guy at SF and you could have something.

They're also few years behind us in development.

Yep--it's tough to develop a team when you can't settle on a plan or direction. That organization can never seem to figure out what they're trying to do.

The LDS community here is lit haha.

There is absolutely no chance Giannis is a better point guard than Lillard, zero.

Giannis isn't really even a point guard, his time at the point was Milwaukee's desperation...he's a tall small foward with good ball handling skills and playmaking ability... plus he's 6'11 for God sake...should be illegal to have him at the pg

Positions are meaningless in the NBA right now. Think of it more as a the primary ball handler. Giannis as the primary ball handler is exceptional for his size.

Of course he will be better at rebounding, he's like twice as tall. Ditto defense. Not sure about passing.
And all of those factor in. His numbers took off last year when they gave him full control of the reins. Final 26 games of the year, Giannis basically played point and averaged 18.8/8.4/7.5 on 51.5% shooting. I'm looking, but I can't find a 26 game stretch in Lillard's career where he averaged over 7.5 assists per game.

Overall, it could be debatable that Giannis is better, even at Dame's primary position.

We don't need our PG to rebound. So I'd take a PG who averaged 25/7 over a whole season than a "PG" who had a 26 game stretch of 18/8.5
