Ben Simmons: 6'10" w/shoes | 9'0.5" standing reach | 41" vertical
Combine this with his go-to offensive ability.

Dragan Bender: 7'1" | 9'3" reach | 216 lbs.
Keep in mind that he was 16 years old when these were taken. He could easily top 7'3" in a few years. A walking matchup problem with his ability to shoot and put the ball on the floor. My favorite prospect in this draft.

Henry Ellenson: 6'10" | 230 lbs. | 9'1" reach
A player who I think will rise quickly as the season goes on. Very skilled with a nice touch. Luis Scola-esque. A player to keep an eye on this season.

Love his potential, but watching Ben Simmons' DX weaknesses video raised some concerns for me. Granted, a lot of the footage is taken from glorified all-star games, but he's far from a perfect prospect.

Let's not forget two player we were interested in this year who pulled out:

Timothe Luwawu (who currently has to wear the worst uniform in all sports for Mega Leks)
Aleksandar Vezenkov (currently playing for Barcelona)

Currently neither is a lottery pick, and that almost certainly won't change, but I'll be following their progress
Hahahahaha that uniform Luwawu is wearing reminds me of this little number...

Is Dragan actually going to come over to the NBA next year? If so, I def want a top 3 pick.

Was thinking this was just between Simmons and Skal.

Simmons, Skal, Ingraham, Brown, Murray. along with Bender make for a pretty deep Top-6 if they all come out. Simmons is the most unique and would have the biggest impact I think but there are several difference makers in that group and it might be a good year to have a high lottery pick.

Simmons - some compare to LeBron
Skal - Aldridge with better shot-blocking
Brown - Drexler like in the open court
Ingraham - Skinny shooter like Durant
Bender - Versatile big man

Let the college season start first. Sabas is going to sky rocket up the draft boards.

There's a couple guys I think are going to jump up the boards. Ray Smith from Arizona is one of them. Caris Lavert is underrated as well.

Alright, someone found a video I like. The loser music is well-chosen to show film of his mistakes. They're trying to get you to laugh at him. The info is ordinary, but the music is Emmy material. Not Nobel Prize, but Emmy.

I'll be watching some UCF games just to see this oddity.

I doubt he makes the NBA though. At 7'6" and 280 lbs. he barely cracked the top-150 in HS recruits.

Kentucky Combine:

Skal Labissiere: 6'11.5" w/shoes | 225 lbs | 9'0" reach | 35" vert

Tyson Chandler-like numbers. His vertical leap is crazy for somone his size - if accurate.

His name is Taco? And also yes his game looks very raw. Looks like he leaves his feet way too often, and would struggle in the paint vs taller opponents. But thats just my 2 cents based off of a 2 minute video.

Marquette played a few exhibitions in Italy and Ellenson was a beast:

As big as he is his feet are extremely quick. Herky-jerky and deceptively very quick like a young Z-Bo.

Yeah he looks promising. Interested to see how he looks this year. Good find!

It's mobility. Mamadou Ndiaye looks more mobile but DX and their scouts scoff at the idea that he can play in the NBA. Taco Fall barely cracked the top-150 HS recruits and I mean literally -- he's ranked #150.

I've seen him before a few years back when he was a freshman in HS I believe. I've had chicken wings bigger than those scrawny legs.

Do we really need any more centers?
well, since these guys might be ready to start when Leonard's and Plumlee's next contracts are up, you can't have enough of a Plan B...

DX is the gold standard in prospect profiles.

NBAdraft.net has fallen off the cliff. Their comparisons couldn't be more wrong:

Sabonis = Scola?
They literally couldn't be more different on both sides of the ball. Total opposites. Sabonis is a banger, Scola is soft. IMO Sabonis is Steven Adams in a Joel Freeland-like frame.

Ellenson = Aldrich?
Same thing. Total opposites. Ellenson has the rare ability for a big to create his own shot both off the dribble and on the block. His handles are elite for a big. Aldrich is a watered down Przybilla. You don't want him dribbling the ball in any circumstance.

The best thing about the draft this year coming up is we could basically draft at any position. My preference would be SG for a dynamic player to throw in with CJ and Dame... But really it's all about the BPA this year.

I vote for a SG. Would love to be able to find a stud SG to play with Lillard, Aminu/Hark (whichever blossums), Vonleh and Leonard.

There are some great names this year. Some of which are just damned entertaining and some would be hilarious to here Mike Rice pronounce.

Skal Labissiere (#1 on Draft Express)
Dragon Bender (#5 on Draft Express)
Diamond Stone (#10 on Draft Express)
Furkan Korkmaz (#12 on Draft Express)
Sviataslov Mykhailiuk (#17 on DE and I'm tuning in anytime Rice has to say that one.....Winner!)
Chinanu Onuaku (#27 on DE)
Andzejs Pasecniks (2nd round on DE)
Alpha Kaba (2nd round)
Melo Trimble (2nd round)
Guerschon Yabusele (2nd round)
Taco Fall
Mamadou Ndiaye

Ben Simmons, Brandon Ingram and Jaylen Brown sound merely ordinary by contrast.

Athleticism is somewhat important but their feel and IQ are much more important IMO.

Perry Jones:

He had everyone talking the week of the draft because his vert tested off the charts for someone his size - two short years later he's put on waivers.

Kyle Wiltjer. Might be a Training Camp/Summer League guy unless he improves quite a bit. Currently mid-70's in the DE Top 100 Rankings.

I reffereed him as a high schooler. The kid's a class act. But he's basically an unathletic, poor version of Meyers
