Did they just say that this is the first time since 1978 that the Finals were won on the road?

The reason the Bullets beat the Sonics 38 years ago was that the Sonic owner made a few extra bucks experimenting with Finals games in the brand new KingDome, to get attendances over 30,000. The unfamiliar arena made his players play discombobulated, losing the home-court advantage they should have had when playing in Seattle.

Been thinking it since OKC was up 3-1 but was waiting to say it, this is eerily similar to when the upstart Seattle Seahawks made the amazing comeback against Green Bay two years ago only to lose at the one yard line to the LeBron James of the NFL (Tom Brady) in a game they had the lead.
Also that was their attempt to repeat. Then in the third year a new upstart made the championship in their place (Panthers) which is obviously going to be us once we sign Kevin Durant and/or Horford.

Nice tidbit.
