And we're getting that how?
But getting lucky and winning the lottery would mean we'd miss the playoffs, and that would be negative. Haven't you been preaching from that high horse of yours about me being negative? Or is it ok when it serves your agenda?Read the thread.
I've agreed with you already about this, but Bell seems like a great guy to have on the rosterI want Jordan Bell...not because he's a Duck but because he's a solid two way player with a high BBIQ and is a team player..I keep looking for that 6'9 PF and to me...he's as good as they come in this draft where we'll be picking. I also like that giant Karnowski? Gonzaga center that looks like Chris Kaman and Greg Ostertag had a baby....that guy is 300 lbs of rock with good passing, rebounding, a hook shot and midrange shot...he looks clumsy but he's skilled. I really like the pt guard for North Carolina...Barry...kid is a baller.

Then explain how wed get the first pickWhat the actual fuck are you talking about?
I didn't come up with that scenario, are you legitimately slow?
Fight me.
Any plan that involves the bolded above is not a bad plan.Bell ranked one of the top defenders in college basketball this season.
Worst idea to trade our picks and players for a star and snag some 2nd rounders with cash and grab Bell, Boucher and Brooks?
I like both players due to they both plays both ends of the court. Plus they field out the stat sheets at both ends. Bell in some mock they got him in late 1st. Brooks early 2nd and I really can see both them be solid NBA players.Pac-12 all-conference teams announced today. Dillon Brooks is player of the year. Jordan Bell is defensive player of the year.

I wouldn't mind buying two second round picks and taking Brooks and Boucher, also taking Bell with the Cleveland pick. Would be cool to see a college big 3 play together on the same team right out of school. Chemistry would be nice.1st pick - Bam Adebayo PF/C =Beast- 6'10 255 lbs
2nd pick Jordan Bell PF = Beast-Pac 12 Defensive player of the year.
3rd pick Dillon Brooks. SG/SF = Beast-Pac 12 player of the year.
This would look better than ED/Noah,Meyers and AC. IMO.
Bonzie Colson: SF/PF
6'5" | 230 lbs. | 7'0" wingspan
17 ppg | 10 rpg (19 TRB%) | 1.5 bpg | 39 3PT% | 30 PER
*Legitimate post game
*Tough defensively
*Engine that doesn't stop
*Comparison: PJ Tucker
Projection: Second round/undrafted
Here's a video for you guys to see Markkanen work off the dribble (plus one inside finish) vs. NBA-caliber bigs. Important to note that both Leaf and Welsh will be below average athletes for their position at the next level.
I'm having a hard time being objective watching this one video of this guy. He seems like he might be an asshole but the name just makes me think I'm seeing what I expected to see.I think we have had enough "Bonzie's".
With all the Jordan Bell love being thrown around in this thread, I thought I'd see what all the hubbub is about.
First impressions have me thinking that he's not going to be very good at the next level. He's explosive, but he looks like a pretty rigid athlete overall. I also think he hunts steals and blocks mostly rather than getting them as a result of good positional defense.
Here's an example (on the first play of the game no less):
That's Meyers level stuff right there and I've seen multiple plays like this from him in the games I've watched (to be fair, most aren't this egregious).
Add the fact that he's probably a 10-14% usage player on offense while being Dante Cunningham sized...it's a hard pass for me and would be a huge reach in the 1st round imo.
Jordan Bell is a project who's projected to go very late first to mid second round, Dillon Brooks even further in the second to third. Why waste time talking about second rounders when we have three firsts...
There only 2 rounds in the draft. The third round is where you find the real gems.
Almost blocked that shot? Really? Any sane person knows he had a zero chance of making that play. And I'm just comparing the decision making. We all know Meyers is a slug athletically.I don't see that much Jordan Bell Love being thrown around. It's not like anyone considers him a lottery pick. Personally i think he is a 2nd round pick. But are you serious with this example? Comparing him to Meyers when he was athletic enough to jump out at a 3 pt shooter, stopped him from shooting , then made it back in time to almost block the shot at the rim? This was off of the opening tip! His lack of length will hurt him in the NBA, (again 2nd rounder) but that was a damn good play he made there by helping out.

Thank god you're not the GM.1st pick - Bam Adebayo PF/C =Beast- 6'10 255 lbs
2nd pick Jordan Bell PF = Beast-Pac 12 Defensive player of the year.
3rd pick Dillon Brooks. SG/SF = Beast-Pac 12 player of the year.

Its biased hubbub. Most posters are Ducks fans. They overate the hell out of Ducks players and think that they'd be able to do the same exact stuff in the NBA as they do in college. With all the Jordan Bell love being thrown around in this thread, I thought I'd see what all the hubbub is about.

He's an extremely low IQ defender and will be exposed at the next level imo, and I could post plenty more examples (15+ from less than 3 games) to further / better illustrate my point, but I'll regress. And hey, maybe there is a smart defender hiding in there and he's just following Dana Altman's instruction to gamble constantly, but we don't know at this point. I can only go off what I see on film.
