Thanks! There was always be people who criticize I gotta realize that because hearing that kinda hurt... Not because I was lumped in with Blazers Outsiders.. I don't think I'm any better than any of those guys. But because it's as if I don't put a lot of thought into what I say haha.

Gotta get used to people who don't know me criticizing me. Funnily enough, this forum has kinda prepared me for that! :D

Another way to look at it: those guys are doing the halftime commentary for Blazer broadcasting and have their own show. So, it's could be seen as a compliment. You're obviously doing something right. I watch your videos and enjoy them...

...with the sound off.

Knicks waive Joakim Noah

What do you guys think about San Antonio? Same team that won 47 games last season now adds an All Star. And the Spurs always seem to exceed expectations. Are they a potential 60 win team? Thoughts?

They have gone from a team that was very deep at PG to one that is very shallow at that position. Dejounte Murray, who as 2nd team all defense is out for the season. Tony Parker is gone. Derrick White is out 6 - 8 weeks.

In addition to Kawhi, they also lost Manu, Danny Green and Kyle Anderson. They relied a lot on their depth, and a career year from Aldridge, last season to get by without Kawhi. This year they have less (proven) depth and I don't see Aldridge playing as well this year as he did last. Obviously, the addition of DeRozan helps, but the loss of Murray is significant.

No way do they come close to 60 wins. In the West it's going to be very difficult from anyone outside of GSW and HOU to win 50. I again see SAS in that glut of teams in the 46 - 49 win range.

Pops isn't the type to wear his team out during the regular season, so low 50s is more probable.

Wait - Murray is out for the season? How did I miss that? That hurts more than losing Parker, who was clearly on his last legs.

But he rested his team a couple years ago and they still won 60.

CJ & Dame need to start the recruiting now!
I kind of had a revelation this summer with Dame and CJ recruiting. Dame mentioned that he doesn't like or do those summer training sessions with other NBA stars like CJ. That's a GREAT opportunity for Dame to build these friendships with these stars that he's missing out on.

Can you imagine if Dame and CJ were training together with these other stars. They'd start to see why it'd be great to team up with Dame and CJ. But it'll never happen because Dame likes to do his own thing in the summer.

No. I asked if the Spurs will win 60 game.
Pretty sure I read somewhere you said the Warriors were going to slow way down because they were in the finals four years. Something about a previous three peat and they would only win like 47 games this year?

The flipside is: he's not going to get recruited AWAY.

Did he say why he doesn't like to do that?

Group workouts? I think he said he likes to just do his own thing in the summer. His workouts are not hurting his game so why change it up? haha

As long as he keeps meat in his diet all year.....

They will miss the playoffs. Too many injuries.
