Is Deandre Ayton for real? 24 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 blocks tonight.
Dwight Howard the anti-Durant:
“I just think Golden State, they’ve won a couple championships in the past couple of years. So, me going there and winning it’s like ‘well, you went to a team that’s already won.’ In D.C., I think the last time the Wizards won they were the Bullets if I’m not mistaken. So, I think that impact would be bigger for the city,” Howard said.

Everytime someone drops 20 in preseason... are they for real?!?!
Sydney certainly couldn't do worse than Sacto. The funny thing is Sydney didn't even make the playoffs last season. Now that they've signed Bogut, they've had quite a few decent role players sign. They've had a poor preseason compared to many other NBL teams, yet pushed the Clippers. That said, the NBL is so even, any team can beat anyone else on any given night. A lot of it comes down to effort, and Sydney certainly brought that against LAC. All NBL teams, even the bad ones, do far more with their salary cap of $1.1 million AUD (no, I didn't misplace the decimal or leave off a zero) than many NBA teams do with all their millions.Maybe we can trade our Kings for your Kings?

A lot of fans gave up on him too soon. I never wanted for him to go (+ his teammates here liked him); when he was here, he showed glimpses (power dunks, defense, etc.) so the video of him ^ surprises me a little bit but it mostly doesn'tI would take Noah back in a heartbeat!
I wish/have always wished him well & he's going to have continued success/growth & be pretty good in this league/fine. Like u said though, I'd love to have him back!
And I already have it set to record. Once a Blazer, always a Blazer.Game of the week: Napier (day-to-day), Crabbe, and our very own Ed Davis host Vonleh today at 4:30 PT.
New York Knicks: Who stepped up in the preseason opener?
4. Noah Vonleh
Noah Vonleh entered the preseason opener on an unguaranteed contract, so his spot on the New York Knicks roster for 2018-19 hardly stands concrete. Four unremarkable NBA seasons needed to be put in the past, and for one night, that happened.
Vonleh didn’t play a minute until the third quarter, but he made his presence felt immediately. Energetic moves on offense, if out of control at times, and athletic work around the basket made for some highlight-reel plays. Some of them were called off, but it was eye-popping nonetheless for the veteran.
The Indiana product seemed motivated and with something to prove, which he does, and Monday’s game was a good start. It resulted in eight points and five rebounds in just 12 minutes, albeit with three turnovers and three fouls.
Was this enough to give Vonleh a longer run in Wednesday’s preseason game? It’s a crowded group for Fizdale to find minutes for, so something similar might be in the works.
With other big men to find minutes for, including Mitchell Robinson, Vonleh may need to provide similar production in a limited role. It’s potentially the maxed out version of his role, if he makes the team, so let’s see what happens next.
I don't even remember what we got for him?
I don't even remember what we got for him?
We paid the bulls to take him. Didn't get anything
Got to avoid getting into the tax repeater territory for an extra year.
Other GMs have the talent to plan a few months ahead, make trades, and easily avoid that situation. Ours has to bribe other GMs to bail him out.
Please. This is all 100% on PA not willing to let assets go in 2016 or wait to pay CJ.
