Fultz' freethrow looks smooth again. So glad he was able to regain his shooting form.

Kyrie is straight trash. I'd take Stauskas over him. At least Stauskas can make a shot.

Kyrie 0/8. He makes the Celtics worse on both sides of the court.

You know whats frustrating? The Warriors are so loaded that the league would actually have more parity than ever if they didn't exist.

The East is going to be entertaining as hell, with there being 3 top teams in Toronto, Boston, and Philadelphia who could all easily make the finals. But none of those teams are good enough where it'd be a surprise if darkhorses like Indiana, Milwaukee, or Washington beat them.

In a West without the Warriors, the Rockets would be the favorites but they got worse this off-season, especially on defense. I think that the West would be a wide-open 6-7 team race with all teams having a chance at the Finals.

You'd legitimately have 10 or so teams with a bigger chance at winning a championship than the runner-up will have against Golden State.

But I'll buy in. The guy who shot higher percentages from every part of the floor than Dame last year can't make a shot? Yikes.

How good would we be with Jayson Tatum as our starting Small Forward?

Damn so jealous with the Celtics with all that talent. Can you please send some talent to Portland.

Celtics have talent, but the sixers are in it

Great post. Hopefully, Durant goes to NYC and Klay goes to LA. That would make things even out for sure.

That right-handed hook for the and-1 Simmons had in the 2nd quarter is just further proof to my point that I think he's actually right-hand dominant but (for whatever reason) shoots jumpers with his left hand.

I wonder how good Joel Przybilla would've been from the three point line in today's NBA.

LA would probably be too good lol.

Durant to NYK would be fun. Cousins to Brooklyn and Draymond to Philadelphia. Butler to Miami. Kawhi stays in Toronto. G.S. would have Steph and Klay but not much else. That'd be so entertaining.

Like WCF good? I think we would be.
I think we're WCF good now if everything would break right for us. I fully believe we would've beaten Utah, OKC, SA, and Minnesota in a playoff series last year. NOP was just a bad matchup and Rondo played crazy good. This year, we can still beat those teams and I like our chances against Houston now. Not sure how we match up against Lakers. We'll see on Thursday.

Al Horford may be the best glue guy in the NBA. He started the second half with an assist, a made FG, a defensive rebound and a block. Oh, and he's guarding Ben Simmons, too. He may not be a human highlight film, but he does everything well.

BNM

He's a Top 10 player in the NBA. I have no doubt.

I doubt, he’s a very good all around player, but he could not carry a bad team anywhere. He’s the type of player who does a lot of good and when playing his role is great at it. Almost all the ‘top 15ish’ could take a bad team and make them competitive. Giannis, AD, KD, Lebron, Dame, WB (dont care if you hate him), Harden, Jimmy Butler, Steph to name a few, put them on a bad team and they’ll make them good. This isnt disrespect towards Horford, he’s one of the best all round players there is, I just dont see him as a top 10 guy, maybe in that 15-20ish range.

When you think about it, are the Warriors really going to the Finals this year? It is near impossible for a team to go to the NBA Finals 5 straight years. I'm 44 and it hasn't happened in my life time. I remember how washed the Lakers were in the 2002-03 season. They were a sub .500 team for half the season and it was the exact same roster that had just won three straight championships.

Apples and Oranges. Those Lakers teams relied heavily on two guys to carry them. Golden State has four all-stars sharing the load, and a revolving door of guys like Iggy who aren't far removed from that level of play, which vastly minimizes the effect of those consecutive lengthy seasons. Also, they don't have to keep a lumbering big man healthy like Shaq in LA.

Hayward looks like a gimpy BRoy. Moving gingerly, falling all over the place, no lift.

But Horford DOES carry teams. He carried the Hawks and now he's carrying the Celtics. He wins wherever he goes. I think he's Boston's best player. He could absolutely go to a team like Brooklyn and make them a Top 4 team in the East.

Good points. We won't know til June.

Why do you people reply to this dudes asinine posts? Just garbage clogging the pages of this forum.

He’s the draymond green of those teams, extremely vital piece to have and they may not win (as much)without him but if he was on a team like Brooklyn they wouldnt have the pieces around him for his skillset to be the x-factor he’s capable of being.

You actually reply expecting to receive a thought out educated response, but get, “ Kyrie should be in the G-League!” #Sigh
