I don't know, but Russ got an eyeful of what his teammates normally see in the 4th quarter of close games. Schroeder doing his best Westbrick impersonation, forcing and air balling a three followed by turning the ball over with the game on the line.

Schroeder is just Westbrick light, a turnover prone, stat padding, ball hog who can't even shoot .300 from 3-point range, but keeps forcing them up anyway.

Yup. I was saying this summer that this acquisition was overrated and Schroder was just as bad of a fit as Melo, probably worse so. Both guys make that team worse.

They're very overrated.

I said it at the time, too. In addition to all the other negatives I mentioned above, Schroeder is also a terrible defender.

Barkley doesn't think we'll make the playoffs. Jesus Christ. OKC, Denver, and Utah are so overrated. None of those 3 are any better than us. Spurs aren't better than us either. What a joke. Of course, we brought some of this on ourselves by getting swept in the first round. We'll have to fight against that all year long as well we should. We reap what we sow.

Utah are better than us and so are OKC IMO. Not sure about Denver. They have more depth but no clear star like Lillard.

Explain why they are better than us. We swept OKC last year 4-0. And we were the team that ended Utah's win streak and I believe we did it in Utah. We also beat Utah on closing night. How are these teams magically better than us now? I don't get it. We have First Team All NBA point guard surrounded by very talented pieces such as CJ, Nurk, and Aminu with young players on the rise. We're so underrated even by our own fans.

I think Westbrook is worse than Lillard but George is significantly better than CJ and Adams is better than Nurkic. The rest of their roster isn't that great but I think Schroder and Noel will be great additions. I think they missed Roberson badly last year and if he's back this year in some capacity from December they will improve significantly.

We are a bad match up for them though.

We are probably at a similar level.

Utah are significantly better defensively and play better as a team. They went into the second round of playoffs and even stole a game from Houston at Houston while we lost our last 10 playoff games and were swept by an average Pelicans team.

OKC I explained above. Perhaps not clearly better but similar level teams with similar outlook for this season IMO but if either is going to make a significant leap I think OKC are more likely to because they have more talent.

Utah beat OKC in the first round. We would've beaten OKC in the first round too. In 4 or 5 games. And we play great as a team. Like I said, we beat them at least twice last year including in their building when they were on winning streak. Apparently, if you're the Blazers--- even if you beat Team X and you have a better record than Team X, Team X is still better than you. MANY places higher than you. Also- I like how people hold it against us that we were only 3 games up on the 9 seed. Well guess what? OKC was only TWO games up on the 9 seed! And they're apparently a lock to make playoffs this year. What a joke. This is what RC2 is for me. A chance to vent!!! Well that and to call out players/teams as trash and start Season Over and Is **** For Real threads.

10 game losing streak in the playoffs is currently held by the Blazers

6 of those games were against Golden State playing at the top of their game. Jazz got swept by Warriors too..

You think Schroder will be a great addition?

He'd a worse, PG version of Carmelo Anthony. He has all the same issues Carmelo has (Needs the ball yet inefficient, can't defend) yet worse. That's a horrible addition. They'll have Roberson for about as many games as they did last year, so you can't say that's why they'll be better.. he'll likely be worse than he was too.

So they added Noel and somehow they're better? I'm not buying it.

But we beat Utah twice down the stretch when they were healthy and playing great.. we have so much more room for improvement than they do.

It is a new season so we really don't know who going be better. But what I seen in preseason I like how our offense running and how we are pushing the ball up the floor. Even though we lost to Utah in preseason our main rotation players out play there rotation players. Now let look how we are better this year. 1st Nik and Curry are upgrade to Pat and Napier. Nurk so far has improved Collins has improved Layman has improved and even ML has improved. Now the teams like Utah and OKC really about the same as last year they going rely on the same players to lead them. There role players hasn't improved at all or if they did it not that much.

LOL.

If Rozier ever shoots over 40% form 3pt or 47% from the field or ever averages 20ppg, I'll be shocked.
I dont mean any disrespect by this, but my judgement of players is so radically different than some other posters its mind-boggling. I dont even really like Kyrie lol.

I'v seen this talked about multiple times on ESPN and other media outlets.I can't remember the media cherry picking stats like this where they go back to the middle of a playoff round and spout off something like that for any other team. Usually its just talk about their shortcomings in the first round or something like that.

Because their rosters have more talent than ours.

The same Golden State team you said wouldn’t make the playoffs that season?

Okay, THIS is the official start of the NBA (The first day is just blah blah... it counts but now we have most of the teams going today)
