LMAO! Denver traded the rights to Donovan Mitchell for Lydon and Lyles. I thought that had a chance to be one of the worst trades ever at the time and it's looking like that will be the case.
I know you were on the Mitchell bandwagon from the start, but you've always gave me some crap (deservedly I admit) for how slow I've been with Zach. I think Mitchell is like Dwade with a 3 point shot, yeah that good, I'm sure you think he's good too, but do you think NO made the right pick?
The one thing I'll say is Mitchell would've not have gotten the same opportunity in Portland because they're paying so much to CJ.

Since the CJ contract was given first I’m ok with how it played out. Yeah we could’ve traded CJ but I don’t think we would’ve gotten anyone like Collins in return.

Yeah, Collins has definitely balled so far this season, but Mitchell that man is for real... To be fair here, Collins as a C/PF is definitely more a position of need for us than guards.

My guess (hope) for next year:

Aminu, Harkless, Leonard, and a pick traded for Porter and Smith at the deadline.

Curry opts in, Portland splits MLE among Stauskas and Davis, signs Patton and Lydon minumum contracts. Lets Baldwin walk.

Lillard / Curry / Simons
McCollum / Stauskas / Trent
Porter / Turner / Layman
Collins / Swanigan / Lydon
Nurkic / Davis / Patton

Aldridge was 10/13 from field and DeRozen was 10/12 from the field. Amazing. I wonder if Spurs will be good this year.

Ed Davis? We've been a more efficient bench without him. Otto Porter or MPJ? Who is Smith? I'm lost. These don't sound like needle moving trades. Also- losing Aminu is death for our team unless you have to trade him because you're getting a superstar. Not saying that Aminu is a superstar or even half that but he is incredibly important to us winning games. Getting a so-so player for him would be bad.

Otto, and yes, Otto is a needle mover.

With Collins starting, who do you propose as our 3rd big?

I wonder just about every year how gettable Thaddeus Young would be.
If we have to pick from guys on our roster. I have been really happy to see Biggie doing good things, he’s reminding me of Ed. I think there are some match ups that biggies foot speed would be a problem but if he keeps rebounding that way , thats a valuable skill to have.

Thaddeus Young would be nice. Probably not gettable though.

Given TB's views on Collins, I am not sure if that is a bug or a feature. :dunno:
My views on Collins really aren't negative though, more like cautiously optimistic.
Also the time in which I'm speaking Vonleh was getting this weird he starts plays for 5-10 minutes and that's all you see him for, was before Zach was a Blazer.

Is that true? I missed that. Where did you read that?
That one day that he was yelling at everyone; it was reported that he yelled at Thibs something to the effect that he didn't want Rose in Chicago and he didn't want him here (Minnesota).

Wow, if the report is accurate, then that changes my opinion of him. There is no excuse for that type of disrespect for a teammate. You can't win long term with someone like that. A max contract would be insane. Again if the report is accurate. My guess is Butler probably had a different spin on it.

He’s had that type of disrespect for basically every team mate he’s had except Dwade from what Ive gathered...
