when Steph's making 26' fallaway one-handers with time running out and they follow it up by posting Durant against George Hill, it doesn't matter how good LeBron is.

It's looking good for Lebron to bail on Cleveland now

I really wish I knew how much control he has had over the roster, the media has made it out like he got Tristan Thompson, Kevin Love, JR Smith contracts, and no one seems to really know what went down with Kyrie. If he was as big of a presence in crafting that roster as made out to be I don’t really feel that bad for him.
It doesn’t take away from how awesome he is at basketball, the guy is on another level. Just can’t feel sorry for him having a crappy supporting cast if he was giving out directions to the GM on how to do it, and it’s not like they haven’t been willing to pay guys or go into the luxury tax.

I missed it. I look at computer during commercial breaks. What was the commercial for?
It was for Kevin Hart’s new movie and I assume the partnership with the nba because devin booker was also in it. Either way it was weird

One thing we don't need is for the Shower to add more quality pieces in order to beat the Cavz; it's just as well for us if they can beat Cleveland easily.

Uh, he already orchestrated much of the 2008-2010 deadline purges that left CLE's cupboard bare before bailing to MIA. Why wouldn't he do it again?

I never know how much of that stuff to believe though.
Fair enough. At the time, there was a pretty well plugged-in subcommunity here that had pizza guys and the like they'd hear stuff from. But you can look at 2014 as an example of LeBron wanting vets he knows, not rookies, when building his squad. He did not want any part of Andrew Wiggins, and made CLE trade him for Love. (Worked out OK.) He may or may not have been the forcing factor with Kyrie, causing the pretty poor return of 15 games of Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder and BKN's lotto pick (#8, IIRC).

Curry simply amazing. No words.

He made as many 3-pointers as the entire CLE roster and he did it on 10 fewer attempts. For the series, his 3FG% is .500.

This may be the year he finally gets a Finals MVP to go with his two regular season MVPs. I'd rather see him win it than Durant win it again, and god forbid Draymond ever wins a Finals MVP award. That would truly suck.

BNM

So watching some highlights this morning, I really wish there was a penalty for complaining. Every FUCKING call, someone is pleading, whining, crying, etc to the ref.

Brothers was reaching OUT of his primary area. LeBron was a SECONDARY defender (100% lead's call) That's referee 101.

No one is arguing that....nor was that the point of the post. Merely that there were 2 different calls. Reality 101....lol.

A commercial with lamarcus Aldridge?!?! What the fuck am I seeing? This dude is finally marketing himself? Wow what a twist
LA has been in a bunch of TV spots down in San Antonio for the past couple seasons.

This series is over. Cleveland gave away the series when they muffed that first game.

Yawn

Brother, they never HAD this series. I’m rooting for ‘Bron to lead them to a win, but I know it isn’t going to happen. Sadly, some will use this loss as a negative against him and his legacy. I believe a player on the losing team should be eligible for series MVP, always should. Not his fault they are going to lose.

Jerry West is the only player to win the championship MVP award from the losing team.

Yeah they used it against Wilt for many years when he game up short against the loaded Boston teams. So I guess some media personalities will try to stir things up against LBJ too. But no one with any common sense will buy it.

However count me in on not giving the "Finals MVP" to a member of the losing team. Especially if they do not come close to winning it. It is the same reason why they don't give the regular season MVP to a player on a team with a losing record.
