So excited about Loyola being there - my brother used to go to that university when he lived in the US, he actually left Poland to study there. I would have enrolled into the same uni had he stayed in Chicago but he decided to come back to Poland in 2008 and I did not want to go on my own (it worked out fine given where I am now but a few years in the US would have been cool).

Watching the Loyola-Chicago V K-State game, it has me wondering, who will the Blazers target to overvalue and trade up for as their next foundational player? I'm watching to see if any back ups have 1 good game. Or to see if there's a skinny white guy that they can over hype. So far no luck. I'm sure one of these guys can average 4 points.

And I know for some reason the Blazers have a penchant (habitual liking or tendency) toward drafting the "project" which look at the history is white dudes. Meyers, Pat, Jake, Zach, and a slough of euros that will never see the floor.

If he played for a trash team where he could shoot whenever and play 30+ minutes, he would have much more games with high scoring outputs. Would that make him better, in your eyes?

But scoring isn't what makes him valuable. He's playing a defensive, floor-spacing role right now, for a 3 seed. How is that a knock?
