Women's slope style was gnarly. So many coming up short and hitting the flat on the jumps because of the headwind.

Chloe Kim was amazing in the snowboard half-pipe. It was so obvious that she was light years ahead of the competition. A huge bright smile, just a joy to see her compete.

on another note, the mens halfpipe QUALIFYING was awesome to watch. cant wait to watch the finals tonight!

Shawn White just won gold in snowboarding half pipe. Not sure if anyone was watching but he was dragging the American flag in the snow and clearly stepped on it a few times.

I actually did notice that. I was happy for his victory (although I thought it kind of crappy that the dude who was leading going into the final run didn't get to go last), but I was a bit disappointed in his treatment of the flag.

I think it's kind of funny how the US basically sucks at the Winter Olympics so they create a new sport "Snowboarding" so they can win some medals. On all the real skiing and snow events we pretty much blow. We can't even place in ski jump or Sled events. Then you have cross country skiing which we seem to fall down alot at. Do we even have a curling team? I think the US has a chance to get a women's medal in the downhill this year don't they?

Hello, Mikaela Shiffrin has a very decent chance to win 5 medals in skiing, shes the best in the world right now, Lindsay Vonn is still around and has medal chances as well
