Perez picks #2.

@HAAK72, what pick do you want? 1 and 2 are taken.

Perez said he wanted 2nd or 6th so maybe not!:dunno:
It doesn't matter now but if I had #1 I'd probably have wanted like 5th pick? I think the top 4-5 guys are pretty similar and I get a better 2nd rounder that way. It's really interesting though because if you have a target guy that you don't think will be there you have to get the highest pick you can get. Also when you think of later rounds, and building depth going one means you get two picks in a row that's a nice thing to have.

Also Im heavily leaning towards a structure like this:

Regular Season - 12 Weeks

Play-In Round - Week 13
#2 vs. #3

Winner gets 2 seed, 1st Round BYE
Loser gets 3 seed
*2 seed gets 5 point advantage unless teams are tied
#6 vs. #7
Winner Gets 6 Seed
Loser Out
*6 seed gets 5 point advantage unless teams are tied

I like this because it creates an important cutoff between 1 & 2 (2 has to play for their BYE), 3 & 4 (3 can play for a BYE), 5 & 6 (5 is in, 6 has to play 7 in the playin), and then 7 is the cutoff. The 5 point advantage would create a meaningful difference between 2 & 3 as well as 6 & 7. Basically, itd make every seed matter outside of 4 & 5. The 5pt advantage would only be for those two games.

Also, itd basically put 7 teams out of 12 in the playoffs instead of 6, giving struggling teams a little bit more of a chance throughout the season.

The playin week (week 13) is also the first week without BYEs, so it lines up well IMO.

Let me know what you guys think.

I'm a fan of keeping it simple since there is already so much to worry about with lineups and roster moves.

I'm so lost. What happened. How are people picking their draft spot and why am I not? Did I miss a tag or something? Shit.
