yes it does, the WNBA also needs to negotiate better media deals.
They need to be able to broadcast their games over-seas where the players make more money.
That's an additional fanbase which needs to be tapped into because the WNBA has shown a lack of ability to draw the interest of the NBA fan.
The players also need to make the game interesting to me.

Even though I find the WNBA players more fundamentally sound. I don't think I'd be in the minority to find the game boring.
My only concern is with as little revenue as the WNBA generates. How many of the 12 teams would fold if it was a 50/50 split?
Its a decent question but the WNBA is getting more popular. I hope that trend continues.

So it's Texas Tech vs Virginia.

Who ya got?

I'm going with Virginia. At least that's who i'm rooting for.

Looked like Baylor was going to blow Notre Dame out of the arena, but after furious comeback, they just managed to hang on for an 82-81 win.

Must suck to lose a national championship by one point, you kill yourself thinking of the one mistake, the one missed free throw, the one turnover....

I'm sure they're mildly consoled by last year's title, and the fact that they beat UConn in the final four yet again.

Texas Tech and Virginia are who I have for the championship in my bracket.

Predictably, Jarrett Culver looks noticeably shorter than DeAndre Hunter (who's maybe 6'8").

That was a stupid shot by TT there, 5 seconds left tie game you jack up that shot...

Virginia just doens't seem to die, they could've easily lost like 3 of their games in the tourney.

I feel like virginia doesn't get called for some pretty obvious fouls.

This is a really good game though.

How many time Virginia died and came back in this tournament?

This is why you foul when you’re up by 3. Jerome drive should Foul it instead he pass to the 3 pointer

I know that technically the ball touches Moretti's pinky before it goes out of bounds but I hate that they overturned that call as a basketball player. First of all, Guy reaches in and makes contact from behind. Second of all, if you're dribbling forward and a defender comes in from the side and knocks the ball out of bounds it should be off the defender.

Unless it's obvious that the offensive player retouches the ball I don't think a ball being hit out of his hands should be off of that player simply because the defender didn't follow all the way through attached to the ball, if that makes sense what I'm trying to explain. Once again, I understand that if you pause it and take different angles that it does go off of Texas Tech I just don't like breaking it down to see who's pinky last touched it. It's completely different if it's a loose ball and someone's pinky touched it last but a dribbler shouldn't be punished in that situation in my opinion.

What do you guys think?

Absolutely! That should have been off the defender and i don't even feel that should have gone to video.

By the "letter of the law" I think they got it right. I get what you're saying though and I kind of agree with you, The defender is definitely who hit it out of bounds, I don't know if I like having more "grey area" for the rules though because that line can get a bit muddy. I thought he got fouled from behind but they were letting those guys play like that for the most part.

That's a good way to phrase it. It was "off" of Texas Tech but Virginia hit it out of bounds or caused it to.
