I think Clarke’s lack of length is gonna hurt him and he will be an average at best swingman. Maybe an Iman Shumpert Type.
Swingman? Hes a 4. He'll be fine. Plays bigger than he is.

Draymond is the exception not the rule though, and while he lacks height he is heavy and long.
Clarke is extremely athletic, a very quick jumper and plays strong. He plays bigger than he is. He'll be fine at PF, especially in todays NBA. Hed be a perfect fit next to Meyers.

Clarke has a feel for the game that you don't see all that often. Elite instincts.

He's out of reach unless we trade way up.

If he is extremely athletic then why can't he play SF? I remember being impressed with him but I didn't see him play more than a couple of games. No handles or outside shot?

Because he cant shoot or handle the ball. His strength is as a pick n roll big and a weakside shot blocker. By playing him at SF you maximize his weaknesses and reduce his strengths.

He'll go top 15, but if hes somehow available at 17 or 18 Id be packaging #25, two or three future 2nds, and $5M cash to trade up for him

Wish we had a 2nd round pick to use on Kenny Wooten. No offense right now but talk about athletic and a shot blocker.

A new nickname is born... anti-diarrhea. :bgrin:

More Oregon Ducks! We need a G-League affiliate. We shoukd see if we can add the Ducks as our G-League affiliate.

It's a little ridiculous how the Ducks players get so over hyped.
Its funny how Bol Bol was God-like before the season and Brandon Clarke was a nobody, and now Clarke will likely get drafted ahead of him.

I'm not a Gonzaga fan. I hated the Zach Collins pick. I desperately wanted Donovan Mitchell.
Im a Gonzaga fan but I wasnt clamoring hard for Collins as much as Duck fans wouldve if he was a Duck. Just like Im not clamoring hard to trade up for Rui.

You are so embellishing the Duck love fest. Almost every Duck you have mentioned was discussed by fans......for the 2nd round, which is where they actually were drafted. Wooten is the only one I have ever suggested. I did not want any of the ones you listed....and I have been proven wrong on all of them. They all made it. As for Wooten, yes I would take a chance on him at 55 if we still had the pick.....and hope he learns how to shoot.
