I think both of those guys are going to go in the 1st. When it comes to Chuma I don't think the Blazers can really afford to draft one of the injured guys when they already have Nurk hurt. That could potentially leave them with only 13 healthu players on the roster for a good portion of the season. My dream scenario (in case the Blazers don't work a deal for AD) would be trading out of 25, getting two picks in the top half of the second round and being able to select Bazley and Okeke there.

Maybe due that Olshey goes to those pro workout in California to evaluate. But the last 2 year we kind knew where olshey was going. Even Zach didn't workout for the team but he only to the IQ test at the combined and last year he had Simons come in twice. But you never know he might have a deal in place to trade out of the 1st.Or they're trying to keep their interest a secret so teams don't jump them.
ESPN's Mock Draft show had Bazley 27 and Chuma 30.Chuma would be a 10-20 pick if not for the injury. He defends. His shot off the catch is pure and he is big and strong enough to post. But I don't see anyone predicting him to go in the first round right now. If that plays out, someone is getting an exceptional talent in the second.

Bazely didn't go #9? so we know it's wrong.ESPN's Mock Draft show had Bazley 27 and Chuma 30.
Not quite sure where to put this:
Former NBA guard Jamaal Franklin participated in a free agent mini-camp with the Trail Blazers, according to Sportando’s Nicola Lupo. Franklin averaging 32.3 points, 9.9 rebounds, eight assists, and 2.4 steals this past season with the Sichuan Blue Whales in China. He last played in the league during the 2014-15 season with Denver. Franklin also recently participated in a Kings mini-camp.
Hahaha. Theres so many other terrible slots there too. 9, 19, 20, 24, 26...
nbadraft.net has Bol Bol dropping to #25 and has us taking him. If he's available, are you interested?
If its done by the same people they’ll know what to look for.Only if his predreft medical eval is done by different people than who examined Oden!
Seriously, this guy's potential to be a total failure is scary...but IF he passes an exam, who available at 25 isn't a gamble?
Sorry, but Im so tired of people referencing nbadraft.net. Its such a bad mock. Bruno Fernando 16 spots ahead of Bol Bol? Haha.nbadraft.net has Bol Bol dropping to #25 and has us taking him. If he's available, are you interested?
The spots are moving around a lot right now.Sorry, but Im so tired of people referencing nbadraft.net. Its such a bad mock. Bruno Fernando 16 spots ahead of Bol Bol? Haha.

Trust me, their mocks are the worst. They're so inaccurate until a couple days before. The spots are moving around a lot right now.
But if were talking about trying tobuse mock drafts as a tool to gauage what could happen, then quality matters. Bol Bol wont fall to 25. Fernando amd Kabengle wont go top 10. Guaranteed. They're the easiest to use and they have the best domain name. Marketing 101. Quality is less important.
How do you know this? Is there any proof or are you just going off what you remember from last year or something?Trust me, their mocks are the worst. They're so inaccurate until a couple days before.
Which is right where ESPN (Jonathan Givony?) has him going. Not that it means anything but he went 23rd in our forum mock draft.
Dude, I know. It was just a chance to talk about Bol Bol, which apparently no one wants to do. No prob.Trust me, their mocks are the worst. They're so inaccurate until a couple days before.

I constantly keep track of them. Ive ran a Matrix before. I pay a lot of attention year in and year out. Theres always consensus which is pretty accirate and then theres that site, which is far off consensus. A couple days before the draft, the flip it to something close to consensus. How do you know this? Is there any proof or are you just going off what you remember from last year or something?
Yeah, its like if I made a mock draft and predicted Bazely to go in the top 12. Hes not going to go in the top 12.IIRC, their mocks are abstract player rankings, not actual predictions. In other words, they are saying Bol Bol "should" go 25th - not that they think he actually will go 25th. They only make actual predictions right before the draft.
They had Fernando as high as 4 earlier this year.I have a friend's log in for ESPN insider so I can read all the draftexpress stuff. They're by far the best. I can't ever log out because I don't remember the password, ha ha.
This particular draft is really hard to mock because I've never seen such parity between picks from 9 or so to about 35. NBA draft net could be right but they've been really slow to adjust their boards in the past and they also put too much weight into their future rankings so if they've had a player rated in the top-10 for a couple years now they don't move him down as much sometimes so their rankings for say 2020 don't get questioned. Then they wait until right before the draft and sneak in a pretty accurate one so that it looks like they were pretty close.
