2020-21 NBA WIN TOTALS (ASCENDING ORDER)
Milwaukee Bucks 50.5
Los Angeles Lakers 47.5
Boston Celtics 46.5
Los Angeles Clippers 46.5
Brooklyn Nets 45.5
Denver Nuggets 44.5
Miami Heat 44.5
Philadelphia 76ers 44.5
Dallas Mavericks 42.5
Toronto Raptors 41.5
Utah Jazz 41.5
Portland Trail Blazers 40.5
Indiana Pacers 39.5
Phoenix Suns 38.5
Atlanta Hawks 36.5
Golden State Warriors 36.5
New Orleans Pelicans 36.5
Houston Rockets 35.5
Orlando Magic 32.5
Memphis Grizzlies 31.5
Chicago Bulls 29.5
Washington Wizards 29.5
Sacramento Kings 28.5
San Antonio Spurs 28.5
Minnesota Timberwolves 27.5
Charlotte Hornets 25.5
Detroit Pistons 23.5
Oklahoma City Thunder 23.5
Cleveland Cavaliers 22.5
New York Knicks 22.5

40.5 is equivalent to ~46 wins in an 82 game season. And 6th in the West.

After taking a beating on the over last year (a rarity for Terry's teams that we underachieved what Vegas predicted) with all our injuries, I'm not predicting again.

We'll be better than Jazz/Denver. Its possible Dallas will have a better record.

That would put Portland at 6th and they should be better than that. If they only went from play-in #8 to #6, one would think that would be a failure. We should be able to finish ahead of the Jazz who basically stood pat, and Denver lost quite a bit and you'd think they take a step back. At least 5 and hopefully battling for #4.

We should be fighting with the Clippers and the Lakers. If we can gel and be healthy and everyone accept the roles that where I expect them to be.

I think the Blazers will be better, but no freaking clue the order of finish. The West is a rumble.

Earlier I said I would be happy with 45 wins while competing in the 2nd round of the playoffs and got blasted for settling. Vegas apparently thinks I'm reaching/homer for saying 45 wins.

I will continue to root for a championship, but think 45 wins is a optimistic goal to shoot for.

If we stay healthy 45 of 72 is obtainable for sure.

I agree. I thought it was a fair number to be happy with, knowing it could easily be 5 games higher or lower if a couple things go right/wrong.

I think we can get around 47 wins this season and compete with the Clippers and Mavs for spots 2-4. I think Denver got worse and I don't think they are as good as the playoffs made them look. Other than that I don't think there is much of an argument that we aren't better than Utah and the sinking ships of OKC and Houston. Obviously this is if every team is healthy which won't be the case but that's what you look at when looking at these over/under predictions.

The Luka love is crazy.

Blazers are better than the Nuggets and Jazz

From what I heard from the head sports doctor at Ohio State, Covid basically ruins your lungs for about 6 months. Thus bringing superb athletes down to mere mortals. I think this whole season will be a crap shoot for most teams.

Fauci came out a week ago and said that the damage that takes 6 months to come back from is going to do permanent damage to a lot of people young and old, healthy and not. Not only to the lungs but also the heart and brain. He said these things will very likely take years off of the lives of countless people... I would think that would also mean years off of careers of athletes. Some of me just doesn't understand why these pros and especially college athletes are taking these chances plus the actuality that they're also becoming spreaders outside of the sports world. I don't blame California for banning all contact sports.

betting on wins this year is insanely risky
