Horford.

Okay, he probably wasn't a star at that point, but a very good player that they signed for the max at the time.
horford/hayward/rozier isn't exactly the start trio i was expecting. Think none of these losses will hurt Boston. Prolly better in the longrun saving that cash

this is insane.

Kyrie?

Kyrie and Hayward definitely had writing on the wall. They could have gotten value for both.

Horford was more of a surprise, but I count it because of Ainge's arrogance. He reportedly expected Al to take less money to return.

Harkless turned down more $ to go there and contend, hoping to cash in next year. I assume same is with Bradley.
That and Bradley isn't the true pg everyone says our bench needs. He's a little SG. Do we want to sign him and take away minutes from Trent?

ah forgot about kyrie. that makes sense.

Anyone know real quick how much room we have under the apron after the Hood and DJJ signings?

All 4 years are fully guaranteed. What the fuck is Charlotte thinking?

Bradley isn’t what he used to be.

Although still a rotation-able player, the injuries have taken a toll.

I've lost track a little

as far as I can tell, this is the current roster:

Damian Lillard
CJ McCollum
Jusuf Nurkić
Rodney Hood
Zach Collins
Anfernee Simons
Nassir Little
Gary Trent

Robert Covington
Enes Kanter
Derrick Jones

CJ Elleby

that's 12 players if complete to this point. Do I have that right? That leaves 2 or 3 players to add

IMO there is a real hole at PF, and a giant void of guys who can facilitate offense. Neither CJ or Simons are PG's, and while they were generally bad offensive players, at least the Blazers had ET and Hezonja to fill in that void the last 4 seasons

hopefully, Olshey will address those issues with his remaining signings rather than bringing back Melo (please no), Gabriel, and Hoard

Looks like a 3 year full midlevel for Crowder.

Wonder if we didn't pursue him because of that third year. 2 years from now will be the critical year where Dame + CJ's extensions kick in, and Nurk, Covington are due for new contracts.

Crowder at 10 mil on an expiring deal would have been tradeable in 22-23. That pisses me off. He's clearly the superior player and fits our timeline age wise better.

Got to overpay in those smaller markets. But with his injury history and overall production, that's another dumb MJ move. The Hornets offered him $63 million when he was a RFA years ago. Now he gets double that figure after massive injuries?
