Whoever this guy is he called it

Also every reporter said there was no noise from Portland. We assumed it was Neil being coy. Now we know it was Neil not doing a damn thing.

Remember back in the day when Wheels used to hang out at the PF and report on any activity and rumblings from the war room? How much do you want to bet everyone has gone home for the night?

“Look….”

Neil is the most conservative and uncreative GM in the history of pro sports.

Neil is probably on a beach in Italy

Whinefest 21 --- Stop being those people at least wait for a few more weeks

Theres really only a few more days if he's going to get anyone to help Dame this year so pardon everyone for having a sense of urgency because SHOCKINGLY it's actually urgent.

Good effort, though.

Can we call Trader Bob if Neil needs help please

You are because you wrote something that, given the history, would make sense coming from you lol.
It sure makes sense if you want Mo Harkless back! There's always the Gleague two way contract!

I wish I had your faith in Neil.

That said: if he does, I hope he goes after the Mavs' first rounders that they didn't play last year (Tyler Bey and Tyrell Terry), especially as they have an all-new FO and won't feel any loyalty to Nelson's picks.
Nobody got my joke...I've failed again.....it is an absolute option for draft pickless Neil to find somebody steaming on a bench for cheap

There is a WHOLE offseason yet but there are only a couple more days --- WTF -- i am going to steal a line from the classic movie "Aliens " when Ripley is rescued and she is in front of all the suits ......

“Did IQs just drop sharply while I was away?”

If the night ends with zero picks that means the roster will be filled out by vets. Why is that a bad thing again?

Because we're used to being a bad team where draft day was our make or break for the season.

I WISH he were more conservative (although more creativity would be fun).

He traded up for Zach. He keeps trading our draft picks for guys who are borderline-starting level NBA players.

A conservative GM keeps his picks and uses them to build a team, rather than trading them to make incremental improvement (assuming everything goes right).

Personally, I will take talented youngsters over veteran stiffs every time. Talented players can gain experience. An experienced stiff doesn't gain talent.
