76ers offered Simmons to GSW for Wiggins, Wiseman, 7th, 14th, and two future 1sts

That's all that Morey is getting right now for these ridiculous offers... just getting turned down without negotiation because the offer is so far off of what these teams would give. I continue to believe his serious negotiations are happening and staying under the radar and these insane offers are both to try to prove he's serious about the high price for Simmons and shots in the dark. Eventually a deal that makes sense will get made... maybe not today but soon.

Neil is probably in his office waiting for some cheap players also known as bread crumbs or in basketball term… Scrubs

If the Wizards pull this off, they will have been able to turn Wall into Kuzma, KCP and Harrell all on team friendly movable deals that can be dealt for more picks/items later. All while recouping the initial first they used to turn Wall into WB.

Have some foresight and take some notes Neil. A good player will be able to recoup some of the value you used to get him even if the initial investment is high.

One plus of a Westbrook trade: he instantly becomes that totally hate-able guy that the Lakers have historically had on their roster to help fuel opposing fans' hatred for all things piss and purple.

Everyone is using this as evidence that Morey is too greedy... but I think that's actually not too much of a reach.
Wiggins is an incredibly overpaid role-player.
Wiseman might turn out to be Olowokandi II.
7th and 14th, even in a good draft, are more likely to be misses than hits
The two future firsts would likely be in the 20s.

You don't add up a bunch of good stuff and have it make great. Simmons really is a top defender and his influence on the offense is also very positive. He's a super-duper Iguodala.

Or…you just completed a starting 5. You just don’t know with draft picks

I’m expecting complete failure so if anything positive happens I’ll be happy
I'm doing the opposite. I'm expecting us to get Simmons for a reasonable price tonight. Even if he's still available after tonight if he isn't on our roster, I'll hit the roof.

Being serious, if Olshey doesn't pull anything off and Norm walks, he needs to start exploring the best trades for Dame, CJ, RoCo and possibly Nurk. There would be no reason at that point in drawing things out. If you wait until it's known that Dame has demanded a trade he does lose some trade value. It would also be really disrespectful after Dame has been so great in every way for Olshey to sit on his hands after Dame demanded improvement.

I just want to see at least one huge reach for someone graded at least fifteen picks lower than he's taken.

A starting five for a really shitty team! I mean, Golden State had Wiggins and Wiseman AND STEPH CURRY AND DRAYMOND GREEN in their lineup, and they were shit. (Actually, did Wiseman and Curry ever overlap?)
I mean, sure, I'd like the picks. But I'd like the picks along with a decent player or two, not those bozos.

BLAZERS UPRISE 2021 NBA DRAFT COVERAGE:
Blazers Uprise will be live streaming the entire draft this evening. Will the Blazers trade into the draft? What do we think about each selection. Come give your thoughts as well.

Wiseman is 20, is a legit seven footer, has a good looking stroke and is highly athletic... the guy isn't a miss yet. Wiggins is a really good 4th or 5th starter. This draft is incredibly deep so the 7th pick and 14th pick are very very valuable. So the Warriors not feeling giving that up along with two more first rounders makes sense.

I think Morey knew he'd get a no because the deal makes no sense for the Sixers either because they have a big time team that's ready to win now and Wiggins is the only win now player but doesn't give them the dynamic perimeter scoring they really need.

Will there be enough triple doubles for both WB and Lebron?

lol your assumptions are just as valid as mine I guess

That is a really great deal for Charlotte. Also solidifies their rebuilding trajectory.

Now announce Jerami Grant to Portland.
ya im interested in seeing what detroit is upto. they're all in on stewart and hayes. about to get cunningham. 27 yr old grant probably does not fit into this trajectory

Yeah, we could probably send CJ to the Knicks and they send young pieces/picks to Detroit for Grant. That would be fantastic.
