ducks up by 10 at half! I think they were a little rusty and made some defensive mistakes they don't usually make. I think Altman might eliminate the trap after made baskets; Iowa has it figured out and eliminating it should cut down on fouls. If Ducks can keep fouls down, Altman will shorten the rotation; don't expect to see much of Lawson or Amari.

Ducks looking solid. When was the last time the Ducks and Beavs have been in the Sweet 16 together?

Ducks humiliate Iowa. I don't think even Ducks thought it would be this easy. Should have been nine teams from the Pac-12 in the tournament, not nine from the Big Ten.

Besides the Eugene native that coaches in Spokane.

Going to keep this simple -- Go Ducks --- to Olshey Plz-- Buy a 1st round pick OR trade up for an early 2nd to take Garza he would be a solid replacement for Kanter

Garza might be the only guy in the draft slower of foot than Kanter... but he's got a nice touch

I assume his draft stock is pretty low.

I think Garza's NBA stock is mid 2nd round pick but could see a GM betting on him and taking him in the late 1st too

What's special about Oregon is that they have five starters who can all hit threes and all five can switch on defense.

His defense wasn't great for a guy his size.

What's not special is their bench. Lawson doesn't think fast enough and not great hands. Amari just doesn't do much. Kepnang so raw.

Why do I have that same feeling when Bret Musberger and CBS switch to the golf tourney after we won the Blazers won it all.
Typical CBS

I’m in 2nd place in the bracket with plenty of points still on the board. Illinois is the only team to really screw me.

Garza won’t be drafted. I’ve seen plenty of slow footed bigs that killed it in college who just didn’t have the speed for the NBA game.

Syracuse guard Tiana Mangakahia had just completed her junior year when she was diagnosed with Stage Two breast cancer, a shock for a healthy young woman with no family history. She had to undergo double mastectomy and chemo, but never missed class and attended every game in street clothes. In February 2020 she was declared cancer free and medically cleared to play. Then everything shut down. Finally she's in NCAA. Syracuse handled first round opponent easily. Their reward is a date with UConn. Is it hokey to say she's a winner regardless of the outcome of the game?
