I would make that trade but no way the Knicks would now unless we sweeten the pot. Randal was the kind of front court player I has hoping to acquire in the off season.
I like CJ but in order to get a high caliber player you have to be willing to give up a high caliber player.
Despite Randle playing well they aren't winning. I really think they would do the deal. They would then get a lot of experience for Toppin, get better draft position and get to see what CJ can do with the team sometime in the second half of the season. If they demanded more, I don't know if I would do it, maybe a second rounder. Now if they wanted Nurk...

I hope you guys saw the value of Ben Simmons last night. I've been watching a ton of their games, and he is what makes that team elite. When he is engaged defensively and is aggressive on offense, that team becomes unstoppable.

God, I just salivate at the thought of him and Dame running together.

Watching him play last night I was thinking same thing. His defense is what impressed me but he makes the game so much easier for players around him. I’d trade multiple first CJ and Zach for him

Simmons is a great player but even great players have flaws. The 76'ers made 6 three pointers last night and thats why they lost. Simmons took zero three point attempts, thats not realistic in today's game.

He's basically a leaner, more athletic version of Draymond Green, with the same kinds of strengths and weaknesses. While they don't play in exactly the same way, Green has been a massive reason for the Warriors' success over the years and Simmons could have the same effect, playing off Lillard. Green, to wit, has been a big part of the Warriors' strategy for beating double-teams on Curry--Simmons would be an ideal beater of double-teams on Lillard.

Green can shoot the ball as he's left open a lot. Id like to see Simmons work on a three as that would make him even more awesome.

I would do CJ + Nurk for Ben. Maybe send Nurk elsewhere in a deal that lands Philly a player on need.

He's also got a much better handle than Draymond. A modern day JKidd, who is 6'10 and can guard 1-5.

Neil wouldn't. It's pretty obvious that the Blazers front office is ok with being mediocre/good fun watching regular season team.

OK. Ball is averaging about .370 on threes the last two years. A tall young PG who can play decent defense. Why would NO do this?
I look at because he can handle ball and he is good distributor with ball. He been a lot better from the 3. Plus he can allow Dame play off the ball that prevents the double. Plus leading the 2nd unit and thats pushes Simons off ball where I that he can be very effective. So I would interest in trading for him.

We need to trade CJ. Trent Jr is perfect next to Dame. He is younger better spot up shooter and much better defender he also doesn’t do lots of iso crap. CJ will be free agent in 2 years who can get max somewhere. Trade him for a valuable PF or SF .

I want John Collins
John Collins would be awesome. Maybe CJ in a three team trade. It would be hard to trade him for Collins straight up. We could do CJ for Collins, Huerter, Kris Dunn, and tony snell. That isn’t necessarily a bad deal though

Time to trade CJ and Nurkic. Priority being CJ.

power forward + draft pick would be nice in return
I agree I have a trade in mind that would just send them out and bring back Randle and Rivers from the Knicks and Allen from the Cavs. The idea is that for CJ and Nurk the Knicks would give up Randle, Rivers, Noel and the Dallas first rounder this year. Then the Cavs would take Noel and the Mavs pick for Allen.

Randle is that PF you want. Rivers is the backup G that would be needed without CJ. Allen would our C of the future and compete with Enes for the starting spot during the rest of this season. Unfortunately Neil is dead set on this roster being a contender if healthy, so he's not going to make any major moves.
