So that's what, 5 game winner/clutch shots this year, including 2 buzzer beaters?

Simons vs Phoenix, Grant vs Lakers and Suns*, and now Hart vs Miami*?

Did I miss one?
lol this shit has a way of balancing out by season's end but i'll take it for now!

Big win. We found a way. I'd prefer if we didn't spot the opposing team two quarters, but they did enough to make up for it in the fourth and beat a good team on the road.
Meanwhile Heatfan is saying how they blew the fucking game in the 4th.
48 minutes.

Doesn't mean he cant play in the 4th or in crunch time.

I'm going to say the obvious: we should try going small.

Go small go small go small go small

Holy shit Chauncey listened to me.

Wow who could have thought going small would ungunk our offense????

Should have went small sooner, but better late than never. Miami guarded us like we had 3 nonshooters out there at all times, which we did most of the time. Chauncey has got to be more comfortable going small and doing it sooner. The spacing with that small lineup out there was just SO much better. Ant and Dame actually had room to work. Defensively, it worked better for us too because we can switch everything and not die on every pick and roll. Miami won't be the first, or last team team to just pack the paint against us.

also..... i was SCREAMING at my screen to take a foul while up 3. why do teams STILL not do this

Because Ant switched on to the shooter too late and by the time Strus had the ball it was too risky to foul a 3 point shooter. Ant took half a second to process whether he should have switched.

It's odd since he talked about it more than once before the season started.

Absolutely, we need 3+ shooters on the floor at all times. Good thing "non-shooter" (my words) Hart became a shooter again! Maybe this will break the ice for him!!!!!

They definitely need to go over that. It's ridiculous that something like that would happen.

i mean, ya once ant was late, he shoulda obviously not fouled.

but i kinda feel like we weren't gonna do it period.

And non-shooter Winslow was 6-8 in this game.

The whole thread on Hart's shooting wasn't because he was a non-shooter, he's been decent shooter his entire career. For some reason this season he's just stopped shooting and now teams are guarding him like he's a non-shooter.

I feel like it was just Ant's mistake. The rest of the players were communicating switches.

There were quite a few possessions this game on defense where Ant was just completely lost. Lost so many good shooters for absolutely no reason. But we can't afford not to have him out there with how offensively challenged the rest of the team is.

I literally called him that this game. I was just owning that and how hilarious it is given I think he might have just cured himself!

there is no one who deserves this more than Dame. Look at how happy he is!

he's been preaching for a decade that you reap what you sow and you stay committed to the grind and things will eventually work out in your favor.

manifesting it into reality this year.

Yes Winslow was huge. I mean it seemed like it was horrible when we had Winslow, Eubanks and Hart on the floor and then suddenly it just turned. Winslow was huge tonight, HUGE.
