Hey....know what the difference is between a blowout win and a one point walk off buzzer beater?

Absolutely nothing......except to fans. I want a W. That is all.
The difference is the main guys get more rest for the second night of a back to back against a much better team than the Hornets. But if you believe that means absolutely nothing, then…alright lol.

Uh-oh--now Nurk's having issues with his abductor? When will the core muscle issues ever end?!

anything can happen in sports, but we should beat a team thats missing lamelo & bridges, their two best players by far

every win matters, so lets get this w
I don’t believe Bridges is on the roster, is he?

They have lost 5 in a row so they are due for a good game. They do have prior wins against the Warriors and Hawks.
The Blazers need to win this one to secure a split on this road trip.
Warriors are trash. Hawks are good. Hornets can explode on offense. Need to guard PJ Washington.

The Hornets look like a terrible team that will surprise you with their hustle and scrap enough to pull out a win. Step on their necks from the opening tip and don't give them any hope.

Don't play down to the competition
This

The phrase “trap game” comes to mind. Which is why I didn’t pencil this one in as a W before the season started. Hope I’m wrong… Definitely feel better about this one today than before the season started.

Let's get this one boyz!!!! Also, lets get that MOV up a lot higher and get serious minutes for Sharpe's development.

I wonder if all the people with birthdays on this day realize that they were probably conceived on Valentine's Day? Give that some thought.. Your mom just getting totally plowed all because your dad bought some roses...
Haha, I have the same theory about my wife, she has all her kids about 9 months after her birthday.

there is a lot of variance in their shooting.

our 3pt defense tonight will be key. they have guys who can get super hot and space out the floor well.

i'm surprised their defense is so poor.

The Hornets are full of shooters. Those are scary teams, because on any day , they could shoot lights out from 3. Which makes them very dangerous. I think this Blazers team is different. And won't overlook them. Show us Blazers, and take care of business. Go Blazers!!

No Miles Bridges real hurts them. That fool , and his abhorrent behavior , has changed the course that team for now. They will need to find a replacement in next years draft. That won't be easy.

also missing their best player in lamelo hurts.

i seem to remember getting our asses kicked by them last year

I agree. My theory is that when you play hard on D, and you have some depth, and you push the ball on offense while getting everyone involved, you are less likely to overlook teams. In other words, when you play with energy, I think teams play more consistently night in and night out. You get into trouble when teams rely on just a couple of guys to score. If those guys start off slowly, then bad teams can jump on you.

Not saying this team (when healthy) won't have bad nights, but I think the style of play will keep us in most games until someone gets hot. On the other hand, if we continue to turn the ball over, then we will also keep the other team in the game. That needs to get better.

Blazers beat them in Portland. 43 from Dame. Lost at Charlotte by 8 . Ball & Oubre had good games to lead them.

So true. Can't win being Pepperidge Farms.

I dunno mom's boyfriend's b-day.

Blazers
7-3 (7-2-1) -3.5 -165 33.2%
Charlotte Hornets
3-8 (4-7-0) 219.5 +140 66.8%

Bookies think we will win and we are giving 3.5 points. However ESPN power index thinks Hornets are a two to one favorite. ESPN Power index not really very good?
