He shot 43% from the field, and 2/7, 29% from 3.But he broke the game wide open and won it. He can shoot.
Maybe you're thinking of Beasley?

He shot poorly, and you're on here complaining that we can't shoot, and we need a shooter like Clarkson. Was a bummer to lose. We have plenty of games where we have someone take over and win for us. Nobody did last night. It happens.come on he scored 8 pt straight in the last minutes. He shot poorly overall but still won the game. Who did that for Portland?
This is Simons’ fifth year in the NBA. How can he still be “very raw?”This is another player that i think people need to watch live. He is very raw. Great player absolutely. He is going to be very good.
It was slightly confusing, but am fairly sure he was talking about Sharpe. This is Simons’ fifth year in the NBA. How can he still be “very raw?”
Well, he’s still only 23 years oldThis is Simons’ fifth year in the NBA. How can he still be “very raw?”
Didn’t play any meaningful, consistent minutes until January of THIS year
Again, I believe it was referring to Sharpe.the accuracy of that is debatable.
it's true he didn't become the every-game starter till last season. But in his 2nd & 3rd seasons he got consistent playing time, in a consistent rotational role, as a reserve. And those minutes on a playoff team were every bit as meaningful as the starter minutes last year on an obviously tanking team
if you're arguing he could have lots of room for improvement and good potential to achieve that improvement I'd agree
but a player in his 5th season, already playing on his rookie extension, who has played in 240 NBA games, shouldn't really get the cover of he's-inexperienced or he's-raw excuses.
With young players, total number of games played is less impactful. Total minutes played would be a better gauge. A player could come in the last minute of a game and that would qualify as a game played.the accuracy of that is debatable.

And the #1 JazzBlazers now tied in the loss column with the #7 Kings.
Kobe did it all the time.Cry some more. The fact that you think he's too embarrassed to come out, and not actually hurt is laughable after his like 10 year track record here. he had a bad night. You're having a worse night on here. Just sad.
Seems like some in here only want to say it's a long season when we're doing well.Talking with one of Utah's coaches pregame last night, discussing how this game is for #1 in the West....
Then we both laughed when we realized there are still SIX MONTHS left in the season!!
Long way to go.
This town has plenty of bridges.Seems like some in here only want to say it's a long season when we're doing well.

Hey, that security guard is @MickZagger !!!Pretty good seat.
Hey, that security guard is @MickZagger !!!
Possibly a team that has finally been scouted properly? This is looking like a team returning to the mean.
Funny thing is, the only guys losing their minds are the ones who thought we’d actually have HCA in the playoffs.Lmao everyone having a meltdown is fuckin hilarious. It’s like we’ve never lost a game due to poor shooting or poor handling of the ball. With what looked like a lot of standing around waiting for something to happen.
Probably because he has a little bit of commons sense and knew we weren’t the “best team in the west”Why is it that you were pretty much MIA “early on” and now that they’ve lost a few games, you magically reappear?

Actually there’s less than 5 months left.Talking with one of Utah's coaches pregame last night, discussing how this game is for #1 in the West....
