Correct. Which I believe is why Billups was not thrilled when asked about the execution of the play.
Well maybe he should have drawn up a better play.

denver is a top team in the west and both murray and jokic had it going while Ant had his worst game of the season.
i seem to remember multiple games this season where he used challenges smartly and came out aheadI’ve been a big supporter of Chauncey as the coach, but he has been terrible in key situational possessions/decisions.
ya they wanted to not lose 4 in a row. murray finally found his stroke. was a competitive game with lead changes on every play. The Nuggets had lost 3 in a row prior to tonight.

I never said he didn’t get any right. And it’s not only specific to just the use of challenges. He just has made some bad decisions in crucial possessions. For instance, the last possession vs Brooklyn at home when he put Dame and Ant in on a defense-only possession.i seem to remember multiple games this season where he used challenges smartly and came out ahead
he's got a ways to go in game management, and his inexperience manifests in close games near the end. i have been accepting the growing pains as long as we're improving in the long run, and his big picture stuff is solid.I never said he didn’t get any right. Double crap then.I am pretty sure they were out of timeouts also so they wouldn't have been able to draw up a play.
He's only the coach. He can't make players execute his instructions.Trying to pass off the blame huh.
I have a serious question for you FAMS. Do you have the ability to go into the future…. See that somebody is going to have an absolutely AMAZING game….go back in time to visit us, and then see if you can post the most abysmal takes in history and share them here just to be a goof? Honest question.Fuck we got Famine Dame tonight
FUCKING BLAZERS BROADCASTING!i just had a seizure watching that fast break.
stop with the baseline camera switches in live action.
FIREBILLUPS!!!Billups lets the opponent run go on for 5-8 points longer than it needs to before calling a TO. Maybe the 15th time he’s done that this season.
Why would you post “lol”lol another home lost
This is what I’m talking about. GP is our savior? What the hell?Oh well.
If we get GPII back, he'd be the one defending Murray in that situation.
Doesn’t work that way. That type of player (Rueben/Kersey) 110% all the time…good or bad! I love those kinda players. Got to ride or die with ‘em.Sometimes Hart needs to slow his fucking role. Looking like Ruben Patterson toward the end of that one
You watch basketball games this way? Dame drove on Gordon in the 2nd half bumped into him and they actually called a foul on Gordon giving Dame 2 FTs. Shit evens itself out all the time. Your theory doesn’t fly here bro.Dame jumped and grabbed the ball out of Gordon's hand and got called for a foul. It result in two points for Denver. A challenged would have reversed the foul and no points. That's the game difference. But, Chauncey refused and didn't end up using the challenge or the timeout he would have used for it.
Just screen shot this one. #ReceiptsIt’s awful. If we don’t win both against Minnesota, I’m out.
And Bones had a +19….. THIS is why +/- is the a shit way to to put value on a player.Jokic had a -8 +/- and somehow we lost.
Which is EXACTLY when you don’t want to play a very talented team. Would rather have matched up with them when they were on a 3 game WIN streak to be honest. The Nuggets had lost 3 in a row prior to tonight.
Do you believe coaches pick up the ability to handle those key situations though experience? Because, just a reminder this is pretty much his first time dealing with these situations. You can’t count last season. People bashing Billups need to realize this as well.I’ve been a big supporter of Chauncey as the coach, but he has been terrible in key situational possessions/decisions.
The Western Conference is "mediocre" or evenly matched. Whichever you prefer. This shit is just mediocre
We never should have allowed a three. Let him dribble to the hoop. The fact that Jamal Murray hit the game winner makes this loss even more annoying. I can’t stand that guy.
Why is that important?Murray was shit all night till the end.
