I’ve been a big supporter of Chauncey as the coach, but he has been terrible in key situational possessions/decisions.

The Nuggets had lost 3 in a row prior to tonight.
ya they wanted to not lose 4 in a row. murray finally found his stroke. was a competitive game with lead changes on every play.

i dunno.

i don't feel THAT bad about this loss. this is the kinda normalizing that happens over the course of the season after we stole a few earlier.

i seem to remember multiple games this season where he used challenges smartly and came out ahead
I never said he didn’t get any right. And it’s not only specific to just the use of challenges. He just has made some bad decisions in crucial possessions. For instance, the last possession vs Brooklyn at home when he put Dame and Ant in on a defense-only possession.

he's got a ways to go in game management, and his inexperience manifests in close games near the end. i have been accepting the growing pains as long as we're improving in the long run, and his big picture stuff is solid.

Fuck we got Famine Dame tonight
I have a serious question for you FAMS. Do you have the ability to go into the future…. See that somebody is going to have an absolutely AMAZING game….go back in time to visit us, and then see if you can post the most abysmal takes in history and share them here just to be a goof? Honest question.

lol another home lost
Why would you post “lol”
Do you enjoy when our Blazers lose? I get shitted on all day here for “not having faith” in our team, yet have NEVER typed something like this.

Sometimes Hart needs to slow his fucking role. Looking like Ruben Patterson toward the end of that one
Doesn’t work that way. That type of player (Rueben/Kersey) 110% all the time…good or bad! I love those kinda players. Got to ride or die with ‘em.

Dame jumped and grabbed the ball out of Gordon's hand and got called for a foul. It result in two points for Denver. A challenged would have reversed the foul and no points. That's the game difference. But, Chauncey refused and didn't end up using the challenge or the timeout he would have used for it.
You watch basketball games this way? Dame drove on Gordon in the 2nd half bumped into him and they actually called a foul on Gordon giving Dame 2 FTs. Shit evens itself out all the time. Your theory doesn’t fly here bro.

Yeah that’s not putting value on a player. It’s showing we played better when their best player was on the floor than we did with him off - and that cost us the game.

Which is EXACTLY when you don’t want to play a very talented team. Would rather have matched up with them when they were on a 3 game WIN streak to be honest.

Do you believe coaches pick up the ability to handle those key situations though experience? Because, just a reminder this is pretty much his first time dealing with these situations. You can’t count last season. People bashing Billups need to realize this as well.

What happened with Keon Johnson? He shot 1-1 (a 3-pointer) but shows up as having zero minutes in the box score.
