How can it be a league of only mediocrity if the best basketball players in the world are playing in the NBA?

With respect to players, sure the best in the world, but as a whole there still are only a number of All/Super Stars. The mediocrity I referred to was in relation to team records.

Without a doubt I believe experience will only help Chauncey. I agree that this is pretty much his first season dealing with crunch time situations where the games actually matter. I'm not bashing Chauncey, I believe he will be a great coach. I was just pointing out that his inexperience has shown up at the most inopportune times this season.

Well I expect to see it raise it's head quit a bit this season and as long as he is learning, that's all I can expect.

I am not letting CB off so easily. He has been around the game for years. Been on a coaching staff for years. Sure some of it is pure inexperience but you must concede some of his choices are just that: his choices. Either way will he learn from them? I get it's a game in December and yes, I despise any loss. Perhaps he relied on Ant so much as a pedagogical exercise. Ant did make a single basket down the end, for naught, I might add. The pattern I do not like is losing leads. Portland was the better team 90 percent of the game then crapped the bed. Just like the clippers game. Not acceptable. Especially when Dame really couldn't have played any better. The team is just a playin team, at least for now. Payton will be nice spark but cannot take over a game. The pie in the sky goal should be the 6th spot. They get that and the season is a big big success IMHO.

Actually I think he only had ONE season on a bench in a coaching position before we hired him. I might be wrong.

I found the KCP 3 and it appeared to be the correct call (if we're looking at the same one). Do you have a screen shot of these missed calls or did you think they were bad calls in real time?

Don't waste your time man. The calls even themselves out all the time. No refs have it out for us. To believe otherwise is lazy.

The Pels have a stellar defense with Cj and BI out there. Zion is getting better too buy not exactly a DPOTY candidate. Wtf is wrong with Portland and defense?

Undersized all over, and 2 of your stars are average to poor in defense. It's been that way for years.... and the results are going to change anytime soon.

We didn't lose this game because of coaching...we lost it because of poor execution down the stretch and Jamal Murray hit a really tough clutch shot....a one point loss in a really competitive game....I enjoyed the game. Denver beat us ...we didn't throw the game away...my 2 cents. Sputtered on offense at the end of the game until Dame took over and he almost pulled off the win...Murray gets the game ball. Chauncey was pissed....and he put an address on it today I assure you. Dame was pissed for the same reason but Dame himself said....it's not the coach..it's the poor execution down the stretch. Get the next one.

My understanding is the line is out-of-bounds, so he would have stepped in-bounds for it to be overturned. Certainly would've be worth challenging since they were calling their timeout anyway.

You’re right, can step on but not over when inbounding. Tough to tell from my crappy blurred photo.
