My first half review:

All of the sloppy play really needs to stop. This is just ridiculous. I'm not calling for Chauncey to show up someone by calling a timeout and benching them, even if it's Dame but he needs to do something to let these guys know that these half ass passes don't fly on his team.

Yeah, it's tough. Dame just can't overcome the defense.

let me ask a question: when was the last time you saw the Portland offense actually run a play for dame that got him an open shot? It hasn't happened once in the first half that I recall. And it only happened about one time in the previous game. the whole purpose of running dame off the ball was supposed to get him open shots; catch & shoot opportunities; have him work less for his shots. That's just not happening in the last couple of weeks

Portland guards 24 points Minni 35 points. Our guard defense kills us on this team. Move grant to sf forward ant and hart for a good power forward and a secondary backup center for defense whatever that takes. Move sharp to starting SG.

Halftime
Us - 53
Them - 60

3PM/A (%)
Us - 5/14 (37.5%)
Them - 6/11 (54.5%)

Turnovers (Points Conceded)
Us - 12 (19)
Them - 8 (14)

Points in the Paint
Us - 18
Them - 28

I do think that the more I see Shae get regular PT, he gets engaged on offense, he isn't getting tricked as much anymore on D and has been a solid to really good defense from day one. I think we could depend on him starting at SG right now. I don't know if I want to see JG at SF but that's just me.

Grant/Sharpe: 10-13
Rest of the team: 7-21

That gives me abdominal distress.

That's a big part of it. Nurkic isn't even setting screens anymore for him because it's a foul every time.

Fortunately for Portland, Minny is doing a poor job of getting the ball to Gobert on PnRs. He has been open numerous times where they don't throw him the wide open lob.

just logged in 5 mins ago. anyone please wanna gimme a quick breakdown of what happened?

nurk looks like he's swallowing up everything at the rim

His hands scare the hell out of them. My Timberwolf-loving brother hates him.

Anyone find a Portland feed? Every link I'm finding is a minnesota feed.

Jerami Grant is an absolute stud

We all gonna ignore that Olshey reportedly wanted him for a long time?

It will be telling if Cronin makes any moves at the deadline. If he doesn’t make any moves, it’s probably bc he doesn’t think the team is good enough this season. If that’s the case, they should bump up Shaedon’s minutes dramatically and just let him develop for the remainder of the season.

Jabari is that dude who you put in when you are up by 15 late in the 4th.

How is it a foul every time down
