With this roster that is for sure and with figuring out a rotation early in the season and sticking to it like a fucking robot for the rest of the season no matter what... yeah Terry is better. Chauncey needs to learn to better manage the game and Joe needs to get him players that make sense with his frenetic philosophies, to see if they can work. Dame has shown he's a much better defender under Chauncey than he was under Terry. I just don't know if we have the right players around Dame to make that matter... actually I do know that we don't have the right players around Dame to make his elevated defense matter.

But where we are today is garbage. We might improve a bit to mediocre, but that isn't exactly the bar we are looking to clear.

That last part is a joke right?

You think this is better than the roster we had before the Nurk injury that went to WCF without Nurk?!? Really?!? And that was basically our roster for a few seasons. This is actually a far far worse bench than any bench that Stotts had. It's also a starting lineup that has talent but doesn't fit... which Terry also had to deal with. But come on. This is a roster that's better than any that Terry had? I don't think that Terry had a worse constructed roster during his time here. He certainly never had one this small.
 
I would have thought some tougher questions would have been asked in that interview.

5 game losing streak sucks. Facing a team for the next two games that is better constructed than ours, with a more experienced coach and a better superstar than ours (as much as I love Dame) really sucks!
 
The worst part is they are falling apart right as they are camped at home for a month and I’m forced to go watch 4 nights a week.

How is he light years ahead of Stotts? We suck. We were a solid playoff team with Stotts. His last, we were a 6 seed. This year, we’re not even in position for the play-in. You have to appreciate what Stotts did here and stop being a broken record about your weird hate for him,

It might not. The truth is that I don't think that Joe is a dumb guy. I don't think it matters if we go on a run and win the next six games (it's not happening but still) Joe has seen that this roster doesn't work and he will make moves. Let's just hope they are good moves that end up with a roster that makes sense for the first time since LaMarcus, Nic, Wes and RoLo left.
 
I think the reference to Stotts was sarcasm
 
Both coaches have small, non-defensive backcourts that the team is built around. Not sure what miracles either of them will be able to conjure up.
 
The better team won. Don't worry the play in is still in reach!

Today, maybe we are garbage, but maybe not. Remember, just 6 weeks ago many people thought we were really good.

Again, change for the sake of change isn't a theory I buy. I always want the team to increase their assets. No player is untradable, but no player has to be traded; it's all about what you get in return.
 
C’mon Luka, go rest the next two games as we need the win
 
jerami's shooting is a massive reason for us sucking of late. if his regression is more indicative of how he will be the rest of the season, we can't also play hart next to him in the starting lineup.

need to get a shooter in that role

I don't think it's a fair question to ask with such an incredibly flawed roster that definitely doesn't work with his philosophy. We have one legit big and he doesn't move well. Chauncey has a philosophy of movement. We need much more size that moves well in order to judge if Chauncey is completely inept or not. He's obviously coaching this roster poorly. He should be able to get more wins out of this group than he has but it's not like he should be getting a lot more. This bench sucks... it has no size, it's almost laughable.
