did you notice how Eeyore disappeared when the Blazers built a big lead and Dame was going great?

if Ja, or Doncic, or Porter or whichever player on another team Eeyore has the hots for had scored 50 and 36 in consecutive games, Aldo would have been erupting all over the forum

Portland winning and Dame playing well is the worst thing that can happen to Eeyore

yeah, I'm going with your new nickname for him

Mans called him Eeyore! :biglaugh:

So are we giving Billups as much credit for this win, as he was getting blame for the losses? Not sure how this works. Somebody on here said it was HIS fault when Nurk shits the bed…..so I would assume he gives credit for Nurk’s play tonight right?

get Luka a pacifier, what a big baby.

Do my eyes deceive me? Did the Blazers - gasp - win?

Obviously the credit should go to you. Happy?

I certainly did. Cuz I certainly did blame him for those losses. To me it's his fault that the offense bogs down and we have too much one-on-one play. That didn't happen tonight because for one we played a different brand of Defense that led to 24 fast break points. But also, we never held the ball for too long so the defense can stay still. There was ball movement and player movement all game and that I attribute to Chauncey Billups. The lack thereof in the previous five losses I also attribute to Chauncey Billups.

Well I'm sold on GPII

GPII was great last night. The only thing that concerned me was he appeared to be limping at times. I don't know if I imagined it or what but it sure looked like it.

Tremendous defensive game-plan and execution last night. Now can they repeat that type of performance, and make the adjustments as necessary?

Very fun game to see. Now, we need to see it more than once every couple of weeks. This is what can be frustrating. We see it is possible, but then it goes away for long stretches at a time.

I didn't get to see the game but looks like they a good one. Stats show little more balanced in the stat sheets and had two players that got double double Nurk and Dame. Always like to see Dame giving double figure assist.

Now that Gp2 is playing, I am anxious to see this team with Winslow getting Walker's minutes. Neither offer much offensively, but
at this point in their careers, Winlow is the better defender and ball-handler.....and just more experienced. We are only talking about 15-17 minutes but I don't see a downside. GP2 shoots the open 3 well enough to keep the D honest if they play together. Play them with Ant, Sharpe, and Nurk.

This is a comment I pulled up on the Mavs board. Now this has got to be something i never really thought i would read. Most here feel Cuban would be a great owner.

"Let's face it : The reason for the struggle of the Mavs to break through in the Dirk years is the same as with the struggle in the Luka years. The Mavs have an owner who has no idea what he's doing and no basketball expertise. The Mavs (or owning a sports team in general) are for him his life's work which is cool, but leads to a lot of really bad decisions constantly. I Mavs were and are a succesful franchise and had very few bad years. But that's thanks to scoring to generational euro talents in the draft."
