I see a lot 6’7” - 6’9” guys on that list who could help our roster even if we didn’t get Wemby

Changes....but not MAJOR changes. Still have (and re-signed Nurk) and still are built around small guards who don't play much D. So some of the pieces moved, but the identity is still very much the same. 'Win by outscoring the other team.'
Until that changes, and the personnel that goes with it, this will continue to be one repeated season after another.
Recap?Dame very irritated with the media's line of questioning. Also worth a listen for those who didn't catch it.
I think he should trade the whole roster and start over again. If Chauncey is going to remain our head coach, Joe would be a fool not to majorly overhaul the roster around Dame. I honestly think he should be actively shopping everyone besides Dame, Jerami and Shae... I don't just think he should be doing that, he's a fucking idiot if he isn't/doesn't.

Didn't watch, what happened to Nurk tonight?
If trading 60% of your starting lineup and your 2nd best player isn't major, then I guess you want Dame gone.

Alot of busts
Thats right!No. Probably New Orleans
Billups should definitely be on the hot seat after tonight.
You think that he has NOT been building around Dame?If Chauncey is going to remain our head coach, Joe would be a fool not to majorly overhaul the roster around Dame. When you lose a game like that everything is going to irritate you, especially some media schlubs
That’s what I’ve been saying for awhile. Nothing is going to get this team anywhere close to playoff success. The best solution is to trade the whole roster and hope the new team is better. At least that way there is some hope. Right now there is no hope. There isn’t a realistic or obtainable trade target to solve this teams problems.
Yeah, I don't think this roster can compete under Chauncey and his philosophies and I mean the vast majority of the roster. So I would be thrilled if the only remaining starters after the deadline are Dame and JG and if the only remaining rotational bench players still here are Shae, GP2 and maybe Nas. Everyone else can and should go. Actually I would trade GP2 and Nas as well but due to their health and contracts I don't think they would be positive trade value in any trade and if healthy both guys could be great bench pieces in Chauncey's system.This.
I see times when I can't tell if Chauncey or Stotts is coaching them a little too often. A little too much iso or questionable shot selection or playing defense like we'll just get it back on the other end.
I thought he was a good coaching choice because of what he'd bring in terms of a tougher, more consistent team, but a huge part of them was presuming on my part that the team would buy in. They either haven't or just can't get it. I tend to believe it's the former.

This is the best he could do. It wasn't good enough, and it was obvious coming into this season that it wasn't going to be good enough. Tearing down to build around Dame and Grant... that's nuts. It's either tear it down or fiddle with the roster and cross your fingers something clicks. Both of them are worse options now than they were when the team fired Olshey.
No worries if you don't get it. I'm having the exact same conversation with my text group and they get the big picture of it.
Don't quite your day job for mind reading/guessing. It's not going well.
No doubt... and he was! When you lose a game like that everything is going to irritate you, especially some media schlubs
The two main things he didn't like being questioned about was if he wanted people traded and if he was still content being in Portland.Recap?
I’ve watched a handful of Alabama games this season and I think Brandon Miller is going to be a stud in the NBA.I see a lot 6’7” - 6’9” guys on that list who could help our roster even if we didn’t get Wemby
Possibly his worst performance ever as a Blazer.
And Thomas Bryant's best?
Billups in the postgame came across as even more clueless than he did during the game. There is no chance he is going to make any adjustments.
