Yeah, I don't think this roster can compete under Chauncey and his philosophies and I mean the vast majority of the roster. So I would be thrilled if the only remaining starters after the deadline are Dame and JG and if the only remaining rotational bench players still here are Shae, GP2 and maybe Nas. Everyone else can and should go. Actually I would trade GP2 and Nas as well but due to their health and contracts I don't think they would be positive trade value in any trade and if healthy both guys could be great bench pieces in Chauncey's system.

I think we're reaching a point where getting guys back who just battle and pick up things mentally would compensate for trading away a little better talent, getting that back with some draft assets.

But Chauncey's lost my confidence, too. Nurk's just continued to be Nurk and he's gotten worse as the year's gone on. Shaedon's gotten worse, although Chauncey's clearly trying to get through to him. Jerami's gotten worse. We don't seem to have a good idea of where and when to insert GP2 and Nas -- he took Nas out when Nas was the hot hand, and GP2 just doesn't do enough to justify his signing (although that seems to be a Cronin issue, unless Chauncey requested Cronin to acquire a guy like that).

Billups laughing with Bev after his altercation with Dame doesn’t really sit well with me, the dude would be a better NBA ambassador or something. Think he’s a little scared of stepping on toes.

Yeah, he is weak

I’ve watched a handful of Alabama games this season and I think Brandon Miller is going to be a stud in the NBA.

I actually think Gradey Dick is a stud. The 2 kids from Arkansas have good size and are ballers as well.

A lot of these guys are friends or friendly rivals anymore. There's respect between a lot of them.

I don't know that applies to Dame and Beverly, though, and, if it doesn't, Chauncey needs to be aware of that.

I really don’t give a fuck about this roster or this season, we need new real ownership to step in and clean house. That includes Cronin, not impressed with any of his moves minus the Grant trade.

Per that stat above, the Blazers are 16-11 in games they LEAD BY DOUBLE DIGITS. We only win 59% of games we lead by double digits!

Nurk's one of those guys that it's never going to click with.

He's probably in the best situation imaginable for him right now, but he still can't go out there and play like he wants it more than half the time. I think he thinks the love the people have shown him here is going to keep him with the Blazers, and I think he's fooling himself. He's one trade away from being out of the NBA, IMO. Wherever he goes from Portland, it won't be pretty. He won't have that connection with Dame to keep him in the fans' good graces.

I honestly think he might have some emotional issues, too. Like being bipolar or depression. But the incessant whining when a play doesn't go his way has worn away my last nerve with the guy. I'm not asking him to be Shaq. I'm asking him to look like he wants to be an NBA basketball player and to stop repeating the same lackadaisical mistakes he made since he got into the league.

Chumming it up with lebron, Beverly, seems every game he does that. I get it, he’s fairly young and knows all these guys. But just fucking coach your team and maybe raise your own intensity level a bit. He just doesn’t seem fired up to coach.

I'm not comfortable speculating on a mental health diagnosis, but I would argue that a change or scenery might jumpstar his focus, much like the Denver to Portland trade did. Sadly, because he's overpaid, I think it's unlikely Portland can move him.

This is how I feel too.

Won't forget going to a game just before the pandemic where he just looked like a 5 year old throwing up his arms cause he missed two layups then didn't get back and gave up a layup lol.

His closeness to Dame makes me think the change of scenery wouldn't jumpstart anything with him, nor would the style most teams play now. It might do just the opposite and make him feel betrayed or like a failure.

There just aren't a lot of places right now other than Portland where he fits, but I think substracting him from the Blazers might be addition for the Blazers, so long as you fill his spot on the roster with a legitimate big (since he's the only one on the team right now other than Badji).

You may be right, but I don't think we're going to find out.
