I am not sure if throwing Billups under the bus will change anything. Sure, Udoka is probably better and I wouldn't mind, but it looks like there is Lillard and a bunch of role players. It is like you playing chess, having a queen and 14 pawns. You could hire Magnus Carlsen and you going nowhere.

I'm not even sure it's worth debating what assistant coach would replace Billups given that Billups seems highly unlikely to be let go this year.

You know what's really weird? Is how split our fans are about being tank/non-tank. Like there's even a little slight hostility towards each other if the other person doesn't agree with each other. I can't ever recall Portland fans being in this in-between zone before that's this extreme. That's the worst part, usually there's a consensus, but we're all stuck in limbo...it's weird...very weird.

The fact that the team is still trotting Dame out there with no frontcourt help and Dame is forced to answer questions every night is making it a tense situation in the fanbase, for sure.

The fact that the opponent paint numbers are something that a 5 year old could break down tells you all you need to know about the team’s intentions.

The only rational explanation the other way is that Winslow and Nurkic are truly nearly ready to go. I’m not counting on it…

so far that’s a better, more well rounded, roster

Billups isn't going anywhere. Of that I'm certain. Now next year might be different? Heck, who honestly knows what next year will bring? So many questions concerning this team at this point?

Yeah i get this feeling for sure.
I'm one of those guys that always wants to play to win. On the other hand if they need to start losing to procure a better pick then I can live with that also. Just never going to like it.

I don’t get how you can claim that roster is better? Most of those guys barely belong in the NBA and shouldn’t even get minutes on any team trying to win games in the playoffs.
